School Safety and Security
• Visitors are not allowed to go beyond the General Office unattended.
• Please obtain a security label at the Security Post before making your way to the General Office. The staff at the General Office will assist you.
General Information for Parents
Attendance and Punctuality• All students are expected to be punctual for school. Students who are not
present during attendance-taking at 7.30 a.m. will be considered late for school.
• Students arriving after 7.30 a.m. will have their names and classes recorded down. Students who are habitually late will receive an advisory letter. A student’s conduct grade may be affected if he/she receives more than 3 advisory letters from the school.
• A student who is absent from school will need to provide a medical certificate to certify that he/she is unfit for school. Letters from parents will only be accepted for reasons such as early dismissal from school for good reason.

• Students are not allowed to leave the school during school hours unless there is a valid reason such as illness.
• Permission to be away from school during term time must be sought from the school leaders. Parents are to fill in the “Informing School of Child’s Absence During Term Time” form which must be submitted to the General Office.

Policy on Mobile Devices (e.g. mobile phones, tablets, smartphones, smartwatches)• Students are not encouraged to bring mobile devices to school.• Parents/guardians can complete and submit the Permission to
Bring a Mobile Device to School Form to the Form Teacher for permission.
• Fresh requests must be made every year.• Students with approval must switch off their mobile devices
during curriculum time. The mobile devices can only be used for communication before and after school hours and outside the school premises.
