What Is Karate?

Karate is a Japanese type off martial arts it includes self-defence, combos and discipline.G.K.R Karate is spread through-out Australia.

Belts:

The belts represent the stage and level you are on: 1. White2. Yellow3. Orange4. Green5. Blue6. Brown7. Black8. Second-Dan Black

Karta:

Karta is a kind of combination of kicks, punches and blocks.All Kartas vary from no kicks to more punches.

All Kartas end by facing the front And bowing.

Times & Locations:

There are many locations around Lilydale, the one I go to is at Mooroolbark college Gymnasium every Friday night from 7:00 to 8:30.

There are also some on Saturday mornings and Wednesday night.

Instructors:

There are many Instructors in GKR Karate such as:Sensei Jason Knight ( Regional Manager of Melbourne)Sensei Paul (Instructor at Mooroolbark) Sensei Jonathan (Assistant Sensei at Mooroolbark)
