Possible consequences to consider: People will calm down

and be happier as it happened in England in 1689.

Possible Solution #2

Financial project focused on controlling the expenses (especially royal) and stimulating the economy.

When people see that the royal family is controlling their expenses to face the crisis, they could become more patient and their feelings toward you could change.

The country could overcome the financial problems.

Your wife will not agree with this proposal.

Historical BackgroundDuring the1930´s the world faced the worst financial crisis ever, known as the Great Depression. In USA, economist believe that it came to an end with the beginning of World War II and with the reforms made by Franklin D. Roosevelt. Those reforms were not only economical (that include control of expenses) but also social, agricultural, and industrial. They were known as New Deal. Similar reforms were made all around the world.

ConclusionTo avoid a revolution we

suggest to use both solutions. The first one will bring a constitutional government that will be fair with the people. While the second one will help to overcome the financial crisis and guarantee the good relationship between the royal family and the people.
