Meet theBUTLERButler’s Boutique is an interactive shopping experience brought to you by Ted Baker. Ted Baker are expanding their brand to countries all over the world, with the next stop being in America. Ted has installed the Butler to help translate his British fashion values to the American public. As British fashion is superior to the rest of the world’s fashion, we at Ted felt it was our duty to install the British fashion ethos to countries who desperatley need are help.

The Boutique experience will be an instore event to help raise the profile and awareness of the Ted Baker brand coming to America. Selected guests from our Facebook page, who live in a 50 mile radius of the store will be sent out personalised invitations from the Butler himslef, requiring there attendance.

Once confirmed the guest will arrive at the store to a champagne reception and wait to be seen by the Butler. Be prepared the Butler takes no nonsense when it comes to fashion, if he thinks your outfit is complete tosh or that your shoes look like the Dogs dinner, he will have no quams in letting you no.

During your consultation the Butler will examine your current fashion sense and suggest 3 outifits that he feels would be much more appropriate and stylish. Once your new look is complete the Butler will forward the image to Facebook where all our Facebook fans can see the dramatic improvements the Butler has made to your style.

Has shown above the Butler’s Boutique is an interactive mirror. From here the customer stands in front of the mirror and waits for the Butler to address them. While you are waiting for the Butler to address you the mirror has already takien several images of you, to create a profile for your British make over.

Once your pictures have been processesed, the Butler will then greet you with a series

of questions and pleasantries. Once the Introduction is out of

the way it doesnt take the Butler long before he tells you what he thinks of your current fashion

choices. Press the button below for the Butler’s opinion on his

guests current styling.

Once the Butler has gathered all the required information he needs, he then begins to select different looks from TedBaker.com that will suit you best.Three selected looks will be shown in the mirror, with the clothes placed on your body as shown. This allows you to see how the clothes would look without having to try each outfit on. You can select each outfit and have a closer look at the details of each of the items. Press the Butler Icon to see an example of your preffered outfit.

Each outfit comes selected from the Ted Baker website so therefore is customiseable. Although the Butler choses the style of the look, he will allow you to change the colour of certain items. By pressing on the Butler icon below, alows you to see the options available for the jumper. Once selected, you get a more detailed description of each garment. Details like price, sizes available, colour variations, material and a short descrition are all given here. This detail of description will hopefully give the customer all the details they neded to feel comfortable to buy the garment staright from the Butler’s Boutique. The description also gives you a Facebook share option,. This option allows customers to like a certain piece of clothing and have the details go to their Facebook page. The reason behind this is that if a customer isn’t 100% sure on the purchase or haven’t the money to make the purchase straight away, they can use this feature to save their selections to come back to at a later date.

Butler’s Boutique has a very strong online and social prescense. Allowing the Butler’s customers to post their new and improved looks online and receive opinions from friends. The Social media aspect allows Ted Baker to expand the awareness of the new store. The invitations for the new store are sent to customers within a 50 mile radius. If each customer who is visiting the Butler shares one image eash it will automatically alert their friends of it. As the invitations where sent local, most of the customers friends will hopefully be local to, promting them to visit the new store.

Above are examples of the Facebook page and how your fashion choices from the Butler’s Boutique will be shared. Also once you choose the look you preferred or purchased it will be be sent to straight to your Facebook page , straight from the interactive mirror.

Butler’s Boutique is an experience designed to bring British style and humour to a new country in a fun and friendly way. Butler’s Boutique is designed to get people who are not familiar with the brand, to interact with products and to interact with Ted Baker on social networks. Creating a new audience and a new fan base, in a new country and strengthening Ted Baker as a brand.
