About the Education Industry

Education Industry is the one of the fastest growing industry in India. SmartSchool ICT (Classroom license) is our Instructor led solution which is our classroom solution and is already being used in more than thousand classrooms across India in schools. SmartSchool CoachWell (Coaching Institute Classroom license) is our Instructor led solution which is our coaching institute solution and is being sold through the network of our CoachWell Area Franchisees.

SmartSchool Tutor and SmartSchool ExamGuru both are self study solutions, which are aimed at students, which form the largest consumer segment in this country.

Our Products SmartSchool ICT (Classroom license)

SmartSchool ICT is an education product for Schools.It contains curriculum mapped education content of classes ranging from Kindergarten to XII. It contains animations, key points, quizzes, interactive simulations and a built in assessment platform where students can get their relative ranks. The software is loaded on the hard disk and can run on any Windows based machine.

SmartSchool CoachWell (Coaching Institute Classroom license)

We are first company to have a very cost effective solution for coaching institutes. The company is very aggressive towards this segment. We not only license them our brand but we also provide them full content in audio visual format using which they can teach. It not only creates a USP (improves the general perception of the coaching institute) but also provides educational quality assurance.

1) Books and teachers can only teach through text but they cannot let the students visualize the educational concepts. 3) As a company we do not deal with hardware part of this solution. We only provide software and digital content. We can directly connect you with hardware companies in case you want to have some margin in hardware.

A. Selling consumer products through schools:-

1) If school promotes this product among students the product will

2) School can promote this product by :-

(i) Issuing circulars to the parentsvalidating the quality and requirement of the product.

(ii) Teachers recommending this product in Parent teacher meetings (PTM).

(iii) Provide us a slot to demonstrate our product where there is a gathering of parent.

B. Selling consumer products through retail model:- We have introduced 7 day pack of our product. We have kept the MRP of this pack at Rs 99.

How it is delivered:-

The 7 day pack comes in a scratch card. The executive of the distributor visits the house of the customer, pastes the content from his hard disk and insert the serial key from the scratch card. This scratch card can activate any 1 standard from KG to 12th standard for 7 days.

How much will this 7 day pack cost to the distributor:-

We will be pricing it at Rs 4 to the distributor.

How this 7 day pack is sold to the customer:-

1) The distributor can do advertisement through newspaper, pamphlets etc and generate leads.

2) The distributor can also do telecalling and generate leads.

3) The distributor can do tie up with book sellers, cyber cafe owners or any other shop owner. You can put our posters in these book shops and ask them to retail our 7 day pack from the counter. You can share some margin with the book shop and also give them some success margin (Margin when the product gets sold).

3) We can sell our SmartSchool CoachWell product to curriculum based coaching institutes. As and when they enter into our ecosystem, we do up selling and ask them to promote it among students as well.

4) These institutes can also start Smart Packages along with regular packages,

where every student will be given 1 Tutor product for studying from their home and where the coaching class can happen once a week may be on Sundays where the doubts are addressed or important topics are explained or exams can be conducted.Every coaching institute does not cater to all the standards. With Smart packages they can target to lot of standards.

Q.1 what is the validity of the SmartSchool products? Answer: SmartSchool ICT is available in both lifetime (with option of AMC from next year onwards) and one year pack models. SmartSchool CoachWell is available on annual subscription model. The consumer products (SmartSchool Tutor and SmartSchool ExamGuru) have validity of 1 year from the time they are activated at the customer’s end. Q.2 Do you require technical knowledge to run the products? Answer: No, you do not require any technical knowledge to run the products, the products are so designed that even person with basic computer skill can run them. Q.3. How many computers can use a single license of the product? Answer: Single license of the product can work on only ONE computer or tablet. The key after activation gets locked to the system, hence cannot be used on any other system. Q.4. Can your products run on tablets? Answer: Yes, our products are designed both for both Windows and Android.

Q.5. what is the kind of support the company provides, in-case of any issue at customer end. Answer: Since this business is a repeat business, we expect distributors to maintain a cordial relationship with the customers. Schools, Coaching institutes and Students using the content for one year will renew year after year. Most of the queries of the customers can be addressed over the phone itself. However as a distributor you may sometimes be required to visit customer for addressing some concerns. You must advise customers to take the backup of the contents of Pen drive/Hard disk/CD/DVD on their system before using the same. Company will do your proper training. It will assign a support manager and business manager for you. The company however will also provide following support:- Hardware Related Support

a. Pen Drive related: The pen drive comes with 1 year warranty; hence the customer can directly approach the pen drive company for any support. However we will provide the option of replacement pen drive at the cost of the pen drive itself.

b. Hard Drive related: The hard drive comes with 1 year warranty; hence the customer can directly approach the hard drive company for any support. However we will provide the option of replacement hard drive at the cost of the hard drive itself.

c. CD/DVD related: SmartSchool Education will not be responsible for any damages caused to the CD/DVDs at the customer’s end. However we will provide replacement CD/DVDs at minimal charges to the distributor which they can give to the customer.

Software related Support

a) We will provide a download link for customers to download a copy of the content and software in case pen drive/DVD/CD crashes.

b) In case customer migrates to a different PC the key will be reset upon proper identification of the customer.
