About SYIC

Established in 1979, SYIC is a professional manufacturer

of precise tool holders, cutting tools, angel heads,

boring series and collets with more than 500 employees.

The taper types of tool holders we manufacture include

BT (MAS403), CAT (ANSI B5.50), DAT (DIN69871-A),

HSK (DIN69893), PSC (ISO26623-1), VDI (DIN ISO10889)

and straight shank holders.

SYIC is certified to ISO9001 and ISO14001. With

contribution to the design, production and sale of high

accuracy and inventive products, SYIC has over 300

pieces of patents worldwide. SYIC keeps investing in

high-end equipment and measuring instruments from

Japan and Europe to implement excellent quality control

and manufacturing capability.

Company history

2019Opening of affiliated company CHAIN HEADWAY MACHINE TOOLS new building to expand business.

2015-Certified to TTQS Taiwan Training Quality System in bronze and received SGS 18 Years Merit Award.

-Released PSC Quick Change System for Lathe.

1979Mr. Simon Chen founded SYIC group, the products including Drill Sleeve, LatheCenter and Bull Nose Center.

1984Started to export products and participated in exhibitions globally to display SYIC products.

1988Released new products like 5C, R8 Collet, and Milling Chuck.

1991Established company CHAIN HEADWAY MACHINE TOOLS and focused on the domestic market.

1998-Adopted ISO 9002 Quality Management System and Certification.-Launched tool holders for machining centers, Z axial preset gauge and Rough Boring Head.

2001Launched HSK tool holders for machining centers.

2006-Established company CTY TNHH SYIC VN in Ho Chi Minh City to open up Vietnam market.

-Released new products: 90° SAM Angle Head Holder, Power Good Clamping Nut, and DualDRIVE+ double face contact toolholders.

2007-Certified to ISO14001 Environmental Management System.

-Released Indexable Cutting Tools.

2011Completed construction of SHINTEK second factory and started manufacturing.

201290° SAR Angle Head Holder was released.

2014PSC tool holder went into production by grinding machine from Switzerland.

2016Certified to of ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 14001: 2015.

2018SHINTEK Factory B opened.
