Transport for Ireland AppsFind Your Way
National Journey PlannerTo find the best route for your journey, use the free National Journey Planner app (also available from the Windows store). All you have to do is type DIT Grangegorman Campus and your destination.
Use the map overleaf to locate your nearest tram line and bus stops.
Real Time IrelandEnter your bus stop or train station into the Real Time Ireland App to find out when the next service is due!
The App integrates all real time arrival information services from Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann, DART, Iarnród Éireann and Luas services.
Taxi Driver CheckIreland’s Taxi Driver Check App allows you to verify that the taxi you are about to hire has been correctly registered and that the driver has the appropriate licence to operate the vehicle.
There is also the facility to email a friend with trip details.
Cycle PlannerThe Cycle Planner provides information on the best cycling routes in Dublin based on individual cycling capabilities.
If you are new to cycling or getting out on the bike after a long break, the Cycle Planner will find a route that avoids roads with heavy traffic and difficult turns at busy junctions.
For more advanced cyclists, the Cycle Planner displays the most direct route, whilst still recommending cycle tracks where they exist.

Dublin Bus ServicesThere are currently 44 routes served by Dublin Bus within walking distance of the DIT Grangegorman campus. Bus Éireann ServicesBus Éireann provides a nationwide bus service, with most major areas having a regular link to Dublin City. The majority of services terminate in Busáras (Central Bus Station, Dublin) from where it is a short walk to O’Connell Street for connecting services to DIT Grangegorman. Bus Éireann routes that serve within walking distance of the campus are 103, 105, 109 and 111.
Private Bus ServicesMatthews Coaches offer a service from Dundalk to Dublin City via Drogheda. The drop off point on Granby Row is within walking distance of DIT Grangegorman Campus.
Where is the Bus Stop?Because DIT Grangegorman campus is so central, there are numerous bus stops within the immediate vicinity of the campus serving the city centre and beyond. See map overleaf for all bus stops surrounding the campus or download and use the Transport for Ireland National Journey Planner app.
Luas ServicesSmithfield is the nearest Luas stop to the DIT Grangegorman campus. It’s on the Red Line, which serves from The Point or Connelly Station to Tallaght and Citywest, and vice versa.
