Note: Unless otherwise specified rates quoted for all
excavation shall include the following: a) Site clearance such
as clearing shrubs undergrowth, roots and small trees brush
wood, etc., b) Setting out the work to profile etc, c) Bailing or
otherwise removing all water may accumulate in the
excavation from all causes. d) Cutting out and throwing soil
clear of area excavated or depositing clear of edge of
foundation to avoid fall in. e) Trimming all sides to plumb or
otherwise as instructed at site and square leveling all bottoms.

Providing and fixing 20mm thk, prepolished Shahderali Stone in coping
laid over base of 20mm thk in CM 1:4 & joints neatly finished with
cement of matching colour including chamfering and polishing of edges
etc. as per drawing. (Rate shall include chamfering, levelling and
polishing of edges) Basic Rate - Rs. 625/ sq.m
4.2
Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of
M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level andcurvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand),
including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints
except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making
drainage. The rate shall be inclusive of providing and laying PCC 1:4:8
including centering.
4.3
Providing and fixing 80mm thk. M30 Concrete pavers made by block
making machine with strong vibratory compaction and of approved size,
design and colour, pattern laid over compacted bed of 50mm thick
course sand cushion laid to required slope. levels and filling the joints
with coarse sand. Basic Rate - Rs. 755/ sq.mTOTAL TO SUMMARY
5 FINISHING WORKS
Note: -Plastering rates shall include hacking surfaces, corner guards.
For painting works the specification as manufacturer shall be final which
includes sand paper, illusion sealer , primer etc.
5.3
Providing and fixing of wall cladding using 20mm thick Granite in CM 1:3
proportion cut to required shape, pattern, grooves ( as shown in the
drawings ) finished with cement mortar using white cement and color
pigments to match the colour of stone slab making through joinitngthrough sealing all height and levels including curing etc. all complete,

6 STEEL AND RAILING WORKS
Note: The contractor shall submit fabrication drawings and sample for all
the work involved based on construction drawings (that may be issued
during construction period) for approval. The fabrication work shall start
only after approval of the fabrication drawings. Any change required in
the fabrication drawings shall be carried out at no extra cost. All quoted
items shall be inclusive of making and approval of fabrication drawings,snap beadings, gasket, hold fast, cleats, patch fiitngs, pins , self
adhesive non staining tapes for protection,etc.
6.1
Providing and fixing mild steel work in built up sections / framed work
including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position using structural steel etc. as
given in the drawings. The rate shall be inclusive of welding, applying
two coats of approved ICI red oxide steel primer, providing and fixing
nut, bolts etc. all complete etc

6.2
Providing and fixing SS Bench made up of 2mm thk. Perforated SS
sheet welded on 125mm NB and 50mm NB MS pipe. The rate shall be

submit shop drawings before the start of work.
