TELECOMMUNICATIONSGROUNDING BUSBARS - EIA STANDARD

The new CPI TelecommunicationsGrounding Busbars are designed to com-ply with dimensional recommendationsproposed to ANSI/TIA/EIA-607 Commer-cial Building Grounding and BondingRequirements for Telecommunications.The hole spacing permits the two lugattachment required by TIA/EIA-607.

The 13622-010 CPI Telecommunica-tions Grounding Busbar (TGB) provides acentral ground attachment point fortelecommunications systems and equip-ment located in the telecommunicationscloset or equipment room while the13622-020 CPI Telecommunications MainGrounding Busbar (TMGB) provides acentral attachment point for telecommu-nications bonding backbones (TBBs) andequipment. The predrilled 1/4” thick cop-per bar is attached to a stand-off insula-tor to electrically insulate the copperground bus. Both are designed to be wallor rack mounted.

Provides 3.75” stand-off from backboard.The 10” busbar (13622-010) holes are.25”D (see drawing on back).

Telecommuncations Main GroundingBusbar (TMGB) Specifications:

The 20” busbar (13622-020) has both .25”Dand .375”D (see drawing on back).

Terminal Lugs:For .25”D holes, terminal lugs up to .28”Dmay be used. For .50”D holes, terminallugs from .44”D to .56”D holes may beused. If two hole lug attachment isdesired (per ANSI/TIA/EIA-607), the holeson the lug must be .625”(center-to-center)apart for proper alignment.
