Notification and Reminders
East Lansing Public Library Services We continue to benefit from our collaboration with the East Lansing Public Library (ELPL) and are grateful to be able to provide books to our residents throughout the community. The loca-tion to return books has moved slightly and is now located in the 2RC Lobby on the resident sign in/out table closest to the reception desk. You may also return books to any Recreation team member. New books are delivered every other Wednesday. We are also excited to trial a Mobile Library opportunity. Angelo, from the ELPL, will park a mobile library in our back parking lot on Wednesday, November 4, from Noon — 1:00 pm. This opportunity is available by limited appointment only and is subject to cancelation if the weather is not favorable. If you are interested in receiving books or setting up an appointment to visit the mobile library, please contact Kimber Lucius at (517) 332-5227.
Meijer Shopping We continue to have success with the Meijer shopping experience for residents. We have moved the location of the drop box in the 2RC Lobby to the table in the main kitchen hallway (formerly the location of the shopping trip sign-up book). You may also call (517) 332-5227.to have your slip picked up by a Recreation team member. Please be detailed in your order to en-sure the proper item is purchased.
Photo Contests It is time to vote! Not just for the president, but for the best costume and decorated pumpkins! See page 4 to view all of the pumpkins that were submitted and page 5 shows all of the adora-ble costumes entered. Please complete the voting slip included in this edition, place it in your mailbox or give to a Recreation team member. Votes will be collected until 4:00 pm on Mon-day, November 2. The winners will be announced in the November 6 issue of the Burcham Beat.
