This first workshop will be held at two separate times on Wednesday 16th November at 10am and 7pm. Please see the attached flyer for further information
NDIS ReportThis week we held information sessions and pre-planning workshops for our families to assist in getting ready for joining the NDIS. The sessions were presented by Chris Macalpine and Vanessa Campbell from the St Vincent DePaul Local Area Coordination team. Thanks to all our families who took time out from their busy schedules to come and support this initiative. All families will receive the resource pack from this session soon.
Thank you Chris, Vanessa and Danielle Northey for organising this great event.
Remembrance DayStudents celebrated Remembrance Day by planting 2 Rosemary plants.
Good job Kayden and Kyle and all the other students who helped.
Action Required
Have you changed any of your details? If so please contact the office and let Tracey or Tanya know.
A Big Thank You to PK’s Pool Care
Changes to TransportIf your child is sick or will be away from school and won’t be requiring their usual transport, it is important that you contact your service provider to notify them of this change. Tamworth Taxis can be contacted on 67661111 and Fiona’s Mini Bus Rentals can be contacted on 67609084. By advising your transport provider of this change they are able to let the bus/taxi drivers know which means they won’t need to call to pick up students in the morning. It is important you let them know as soon as possible as transport runs start very early.
Also, if you are planning respite or any other change to your child’s drop off or pick up points, you must inform office staff at Bullimbal a week prior to the change. Assisted School Travel are very strict on this and if you leave this change to the last minute, your child’s transport may be affected.
A Big Bullimbal Thank You to PK’s Poolcare who helped us out while Dean was on leave at the end of last term.

Class 6 have been concentrating on
Measurement and Money in Maths so far this term. We have been
learning about Volume and Capacity using experiments to compare the capacity of
different containers. Our class has also been experimenting with Length using chain links to measure the playground and different areas of
our school. Did you know that our playground is 153 ‘big’ steps long and 56 steps wide?We have also been working on Money
and learning how we can make different amounts using both coins and notes to
help us with our weekly shopping trip.
Carers’ Weekcelebration
Thank you for all you do
Staff and students were thrilled to have the opportunity to show our wonderful parents and carers how much they are loved and appreciated for all that they do. We especially enjoyed having our carers visit our classes for morning tea and then to stay for a special Carers’ Family Assembly where we had the opportunity to present some lucky winners with prizes such as massages from Tamworth Remedial Massage ( who donated 2 massages, thank you) BCF and Forum 6 Movie passes. Our Chaplin Charmain Alley worked tirelessly to organise gift packs which included coffee vouchers, chocalates and lollies. A big thank you to Fiona Hansford who organised flowers for our carers and to staff who baked to provide morning tea for each class.
Thanks also to Carers NSW who provided a $250 grant to fund this wonderful day
