Romans 1:16-17 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for
salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17 For in it the
righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.’ "
Proverbs 3:1-2 "My son, do not forget my teaching, But let your heart keep my
commandments; 2 For length of days and years of life And peace they will add to you."

Mark 8:38: "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

Reasons to Keep the Lord's Day Holy #6. The Sabbath Remains for the Christian - Part 1. We are beginning to look at the evidence that the command to keep the Lord's Day Holy is still in place for the believer, as are all the 10 Commandments. It seems strange that the one command that many believers want to do away with is to spend more time with the One they love above all others! "So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God." God has but three things dear unto Him in this world, His saints, His worship, and His truth; and it is hard to say which of these is dearest unto Him. Thomas Goodwin
Such is the immutability of truth, the patrons of it make it not greater, the opposers make it not less; as the splendor of the sun is not enlarged by them that bless it, nor eclipsed by them that hate it. Thomas Adams
Holiness in practice depends much on a sound judgment. Godliness is the child of truth, and it must be nursed by its own mother. “Desire the sincere milk of the Word, that ye may grow thereby.” William Gurnall
