AMEN

Take a look around the walls of your church. The word “Amen” has resounded off those walls count-less mes at the conclusion of the Eucharis c Pray-er and as the faithful have come forward to re-ceive the Body and Blood of Christ. Today’s feast is about those “Amens” offered in faith, offered in

mes of trouble or doubt, spoken in joy, spoken mindlessly, but all given to God in a mul tude of ways. It is our very lives that lie behind our “Amens” and are touched by the presence of Christ, the presence we celebrate today. More im-portantly, we celebrate the love of Christ for us shown in the sacrifice on Calvary and that he con-

nues to give to us in every celebra on of the Eucharist. What can we do but rejoice in that great love, and then go out into the world and live that love in sacrificing for others? Copyright © J. S. Paluch Co.

Ayúdame a dirigir mi
