HELLO FROM THE PRINCIPAL!
Dear Parents/Caregivers,
Welcome to our visitors from Wodonga, Victoria! We hope you enjoy your time with us and that the weather holds up for you. Our Year 6-8 students will have the opportunity for a return visit in 2015, so keep this in mind if you are interested.
Thanks so much for all the support at the senior Athletics Day last Friday. It was lovely to see so many parents braving the cool weather to watch the kids have such a wonderful day.
Wheel and Walk this morning had a new and interesting twist, with a speed camera down by the shops. I spoke to the operator when I was walking back to school and he confirmed a number of activations. If you are lucky enough to be getting a letter in the mail with your speed fine, imagine how much you would have saved by simply dropping your children off at the Wairere Road roundabout.
At the end of this year, we will farewell Mrs Rush, who is heading to a school closer to her home on the North Shore. We wish her well and will farewell her properly closer to the end of year.
Our ERO review last week was a gruelling experience, despite this, we are very pleased with their findings and the positive feedback they were able to give us. Our final report will arrive in about a month and we will share this with you. Thanks so much to the parents who found the time to come and speak with the ERO team.
Keep an eye on your mail box for a flyer advertising our Art Sale - or check the school website for more information.
