BULACAN TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION

To: Division ChiefsElementary and Secondary School HeadsAll Others Concerned

1. In celebration of World Teachers' Day, DepEd Schools Division of Bulacan in collaboration with theProvincial Government shall hold a convergence of all public elementary and secondary schoolteachers in four batches on dates listed hereunder:

2. DepEd and the Provincial Government of Bulacan jointly carry the activity aimed to:2.1 gather elementary and secondary classroom teachers for a meeting with officials of the

Provincial Government on the status of education in the Province of Bulacan;2.2 provide a simple but fitting tribute to teachers who are maid er of young minds; and2.3 foster camaraderie and unity among participants through fun-filled activities and cultural

presentations.

3. Participants in this activity include teachers in public elementary and secondary schools, schoolheads/ principals/ department heads, district supervisors, education supervisors and key OepEdBulacan Division officials. They are advised to wear Teachers' Day t-shirts, maong pants and rubbershoes/sneakers. They should bring their ID too.

4. Enclosure No. 1 contains the schedule of activities while the list of work committees is indicated inEnclosure No. 2. The meeting of the members of work committees is on September 19 (Wednesday),2018,1 PM @ SDO Conference Hall.

5. Elementary and secondary schools in a district shall work together as one team. The districtsupervisor and secondary school heads are requested to coordinate with each other. Eachteam/district shall prepare a three (2) minute yell and five (3) minute presentation (which may bedance, song number/interpretation or comedy/drama skit on the life of a teacher).The district supervisors shall report thru powerpoint presentation the profile of teachers in theirrespective districts.

6. All District Supervisors and Education Program Supervisors shall attend on October 1, 2018 (EODIS1) because of their commitment in the Regional Training on Instructional Leadership.

7. Expenses to be incurred in the conduct of this activity like meals and snacks, souvenir items andother incidental expenses shall be charged from Provincial Funds subject to the usual accountingand auditing rules and regulations.

8. It is desired that this Memorandum be given immediate and wide dissemination.

This activity is a gathering of more than 15,000 teachers across the Province of Bulacan. To ensure smoothflow of the activity, all District Supervisors and their alternate school heads are reminded of the following:

1. Schedule: EDDIS 1 - October 1, 2018 (Monday), 8AM-4PM, Venue: Bulacan Capitol GymnasiumEDDIS 2 - October 2, 2018 (Tuesday), 8AM-4PM, Venue Bulacan Capitol GymnasiumEDDIS 3 - October 3, 2018 (Wednesday), 8AM-4PM, Venue Bulacan Capitol GymnasiumEDDIS 4 - October 4,2018 (Thursday), 8AM-4PM, Venue Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium

2. Participants: Public School Teachers: Kindergarten, SPED Teachers, Elementary, Junior andSenior High School, School Principals, Department Heads, District Supervisors, Education ProgramSupervisors, DepEd Division Office Key Personnel. Particpants will have assigned seats in thebleacher.

3. Attire: Teachers' Day T-shirt (given by the Provincial Government of Bulacan)Maong PantsRubber Shoes/SneakersPlease bring ID (License or School ID)

4. The elementary and secondary schools in a district shall be together as one team. DistrictSupervisors and Secondary School Heads should coordinate with one another as to reporting ofdistrict profile and group presentation.EDDIS 1 - (7 teams) EDDIS 3 - (11 teams)EDDIS 2 - (9 teams) EDDIS 4 - (6 teams)

5. Each district/team shall prepare own nametag. The template for name tag can be downloaded fromDepEd Bulacan Records Facebook group. Name tag should be printed in colored paper based onthe color assignment below with double adhesive tape at the back:

6. Each district/team must have the following:a. One (1) focal person to oversee the registration in the attendance sheets. Each team will be

provided with folder containing attendance sheets for both elementary and secondary levels.b. One (1) focal person to receive the packed meal and snacks for distribution to the members

of district/team.c. One (1) focal person to receive and distribute the t-shirts/tokens to the members of

district/team. Have the teachers affix their signature in the list of recipients. (The list will beprovided by the Technical Work Group of the Division Office)

d. District Yell- prepare a two-minute yelle. The PSDS shall report the district/team profile (2 minutes only via powerpoint presentation)

using the template below:

f. Each district/team shall prepare a five-minute presentation (select few members only) whichmay be a dance number/song interpretation/balagtasan or short drama skit depicting the lifeof a teacher - to showcase that our teachers got talents. Time allotment is strictly 5 minutesonly. Microphone will be turned off after the five-minute allotment.

g. Have a pre-selection of teachers who will participate in parlor games. Pregnant teachers andthose who are under medication are not allowed to join the parlor games.

h. Teachers who are not present during the activity will not receive token.
