ULTIMATE GOAL: TECH SAVVY!
• “If nothing else, we should be aiming to become "super users" in whatever software/systems/apps that we and our clients use.” --Connie Crosby, Toronto Canada
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE
• Attitude is so important…I think that patron will be happy as long as they feel that we are doing all that we can to help them. That can mean searching online, consulting with coworkers, taking down their number and calling them back with an answer, scheduling them for one-on-one help, and more.–Theresa Cahill Agostinelli, Reference Librarian, Monroe Township Public Library
• Patience is another skill…for both yourself as you learn and with others as you help them. –Heather Braum NEKLS
• If you don’t have a great attitude toward technology, or much patience when it comes to learning new tech stuff—Fake It!--Maribeth Turner, CKLS
