licata+greutol’s history finds its roots in the late Sixties in Switzerland where, over the years, the

company gained an extensive experience in coatings,

insulation systems, and powdery products and it

acquired a business mindset focused on reliability

and punctuality of the service.

The beginning of the Eighties mark a milestone:

the company approached the Italian industry scene

and founded an important production centre in Italy

(Canicattì, province of Agrigento) homeland of one

of the two founders, presenting itself as an innovator

in the building, introducing the first external

thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) and

new decorative silicate potassium-based minerals,

thus spreading right away in much of southern

Italy and through the nearby Malta.

The keystone is marked by the entrance of the founder’s

son, who brought to the company a breath of fresh

air in. licata+greutol, that since years peered through the international market, decided to enter

the European international market in a more determined

manner by setting up retail centres, agencies and joint

ventures.

In 2008 a new plant is established (Pognano, province

of Bergamo) in response to the production requirements

of the company, now exponentially grown.

Canicattì, the company has several warehouses and

branches scattered throughout Italy and Europe.

The production departments, conceived according

to state-of-the-art technology, are made up of

high-performance production plants devoted to the

preparation and the packaging of paste and powdery

products. This involves computerized production

lines controlled by software that assure error-free

production processes: from sorting to dosage, from

mixing to packaging.

Greusystemcolors consists of 16 water-based

colorants manufactured according to E.L.F. (free of

emission and solvents), therefore environment-friendly.

In facts, all of the dyes used are marked Voc-Free and

APEO-free, nevertheless they are high-performance

licata+greutol offers different kinds of tinting machine: manual and electronic ones. Installation

and assistance are performed by specialized staff
