CJK Cooperation Achievements 3

• Developed an Inter-Cloud service and researching the technologies of federated Clouds on CJK testbeds in 2018, and continue the activities in global OpenStack related communities.;

• Discussed a number of future cooperation topics, such as: cloud computing, network function virtualization, OpenStack, artificial intelligence, smart city, blockchain, and edge computing.

• Continued to organize the OSS training camp (OSS TC) and the master level training camp (OSS MTC) ;

• Continued to promote the sharing of teaching materials, the certification of national OSS talents and the mutual certification in CJK by utilizing the Northeast Asia OSS Sample Curricula.

• Blockchain has be selected as a new area of cooperation, a network will be organized to promote license compliance in wide areas of the OSS ecosystem. Besides, WG2 will create opportunities for Northeast Asian developers to cooperate and communicate with top developers.

CJK Cooperation Achievements in 2018

• Finished the standard “General Technique Requirements of Network Terminal Operating System” and released it.

• Launched the work on FOSS Supply-Chain Risk Management (SCRM) standard guideline;

• Started an Evaluation Guideline for Open R&D Projects; • Conducted a preliminary standard study about design & test services in

projects which specifies the work requirements, method and workflow.

1. Government should introduce special guidance policies in the open source field; 2. Improve the construction of the intellectual property system; 3. Follow up domestic and international open source development trends; 4. Establish a software safety standard to enhance the security of using open source software.

1.Adjust the direction of the working group and promote cooperation in frontier areas such as AI, blockchain and IoT; 2. Hold activities such as “CJK Top 100 Open Source Project Forum” to promote business cooperation; 3. To build industry information service platform in industrial Internet, autopilot, intelligent manufacturing and other fields; 4. To enhance opportunities for joint training of open source talents in universities between CJK, and promote the application of OSS in academic research.
