DESCRIPTION

These are examples of mural making as part of service projects in Philadelphia and around the world. While some are part of ongoing programming, others are made within Arts for Hope camps in only 4 days. In most cases, these are designed and painted by the participants and community members. Where there is no wall, a portable mural format is used. Each mural corresponds to a class teaching objective; i.e. the environment (Turks and Caicos), peace, hope, or other topic. Teaching art skills are integral to the onjectives.
