5-1-15 Build Alumni Program/ Communications Coordinator JOB DESCRIPTION: Under general direction, manages the Entrepreneurship Alumni program, and other programs as specified; provides leadership, coordination, and integration; develops relationships with external groups; manages alumni program for future marketing purposes; implements events; provides marketing ideas. CHARACTERISTIC JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1 Provides leadership, coordination, and integration with internal departments and external stakeholders that can benefit from our entrepreneurship programs, activities, and services. 2 Develops key external relationships/partnerships with local entrepreneurs, businesses, foundations, high schools, and peer institutions and foundations. 3 Implements quarterly alumni happy hours or other local, and regional events to add value to programs and build awareness and support to Build programs. 5 Provides marketing ideas and strategies for our program(s): events, collateral (print, web, and social), etc. 6 Performs other duties as assigned. 7 Produce Build graduate profiles including photo and interview.
