From a CFO's perspective. David Stack is the Chief Financial Officer at Qstream with more than 20 years of experience leading financial operations
There is always a perception that on January 1, there is a whole new world and many elements of the company
change. The reality is that, there isn’t anything that changes from December
31st to January 1st, other than perhaps a new quarter or fiscal year.

The best approach is to always set aggressive goals with perhaps stretch
goals that dovetail with additional hiring and investments in the business
Defining the vision for customer success and how your internal people,
process, and systems will support your execution against your retention goals,
is critical.
How fast are you looking to grow your headcount and expense for overhead
groups vs revenue generating groups? There should be a thoughtful allocating of resources towards product and go
to market groups
If you execute well in the first few months or quarter of the year and stay
ahead of your stated goals for new bookings and revenue, along with
customer retention, you will be in a position of strength for the balance of
the year.
