Hello Readers! You people have been going through amazing reading ride of BuddyBits (henceforthwe will say BuddyBits as BB) and here we are back with new stuffs as we come every time. Somenew exciting and cool stuffs have been added in this issue and for experiencing it you will have toread BB. BB is completely different than other media; it has its own way and owns stories that areenlightening your perception of living life. We have decided to make your life easier by sharingexperiences by means of various articles written by various columnists.

I trust it is the first magazine that has LIFE RELATED sensitivity and serving LIFE RELATEDcontents. Actually, we are group of common people from our society but our way of serving, ourtechnique of presentation is uncommon and stupendously great. We are going forward in thedirection that will spread awareness in modern people especially in youngsters to handle varioussituations as like How to deal with people? How to stay tranquil? How to live life happily? Etc.

Besides saying all these, if I say something else; one boom can be heard nowadays and that isabout GTU (Gujarat Technological University). GTU has been considered as like a new born childamong other universities. IT has so many pros and cons that cannot be avoided, as like DELAYEDRESLUT, UNEXPECTED RESULT GIVING TECHNIQE (students who are sure about passing theexam fail in GTU and those who are sure about the failure clear the exam) it is totally strange andremarkable thing. Even website of it gets down almost every time when result is being declared.Students want justice for that, GTU needs to be changed and it has to be. If we observe its logo, ithas a Space Shuttle of NASA in the right lower most corner even if it is not the property of India, instead of that space shuttle there must be a GSLV or PSLV (satellite launching vehicles of ISRO)as per my opinion. Actually, we people have tendency to lionize other people and theirachievements, we do not consider our achievements and inventions we have made and abovething that I discussed about GTU’s logo, indicates that tendency only. As it is said, “changes arenecessary” we can hope for betterment of GTU in form of change and that will come for sure.

March is the month in which BOARD EXAMS are commenced but now several changes have beenmade by Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education to reduce burden and thefear of so called BOARD EXAMS. Actually, this is very much appreciable step have been taken bythem. This BB issue is dedicated to the festival of colors, HOLI. As like Cassata ice cream, thingsbecome more interesting and lively when it has multiple flavors or say multiple colors. By puttingthis strategy in center, BB is designed and contents of it are projected in that manner by our team.

COVER STORY

After a freaky day at college I decided to lock myselfin my room and cutoff from the rest of the world. Ithrashed my bag on the sofa and fell down on my bed(it’s the best to lie place for me in the world wheneverI get frenzied).I just wondered what on this earth did Ido wrong? Why was god taking my acid at every stepof life? Why am I not able to stand up for myselfwhenever anything goes wrong to me? Why my luckdoes doesn't favor when needed? Why nothing goodhappens to me? Why has my life become socolorless? And my final question god why me only?

I even switched off my mobile so that no one disturbsme. I wanted to spend some time with myself. I askedmom not to let anyone in. I began to weep. Suddenlymy eyes stuck at the photos hanging on the wallthere. I stopped wailing for a while saw those smilingphotos of me with my family and friends. I lookedmore happy and delightful in those pictures. I lookedutterly butterfly sweet as an apple pie in one of mychildhood picture where I was sitting with my parentsand holding my brother’s arms tightly. I looked soinnocent. I had no tensions about results, nopressures of how I look, no qualms about what I

talked and how I talked on this earth. Life was like arainbow then. Bright, colorful and dazzling. The sevencolors filled my life with joy and frolic.

Then there was a picture with my childhood buddies. We all were trying to lean on each other’s shoulder. We friends were like the obliging orange. Playful, cheerful and extremely friendly. That innocent love foreach other and a great sense of comfort I shared withthem is somewhere lost with the friends I have today. My world was completely different then. There wasone photograph of mine when I was ten. Ten was funI say. They were the days when I was learning toskate and dance. I was keen to learn new things. Iresembled that phase to the young yellow color .I wascurious, joyful and always amused by learning newthings. I was ready to learn and ready to accept newchanges readily with a smile.

Time changes so do we. The ingenuousness in mewas lost somewhere I guess. Things drasticallychanged when I approached teens. I resembled torobust red. I was hot tempered. I was lost in somewonderland.

Love is all about being in LOVE!

note and used to hide it in my piggy bank but now Inegotiate for no less than one thousand rupees. NowI screech whenever he switches on to the newschannel. I snatch away the remote from his handsand switch over to my favorite channel. I don't sharemy experiences with him as I used to .but surprisinglyhe never reacts in a defiant manner to me. He andmom have been impartial to my atrocious behavior.

When I was seeing the wrist watch to check the time.I mildly smiled at seeing it because it was a gift to meby my loving brother. I was then engrossed in histhoughts. My brother plugs the impeccable indigocolor in my life circle. Extremely idealistic, wise andritualistic. He has a golden heart and a very soulfulperson. He has an amazing intuition of mind. He usedto fight a lot when we were kids. We had some greatmemorable moments in life. Those were mostrelaxing and chilled out days of my life. We wentcycling all over the compound racing with each otherand the loosing person would gift a five star to thewinning one. He was and is always a sugaryinnocently loving and caring brother. We mostlyinteract through message with each other as hedwells in another city now. He is busy doing his joband I am extremely happy for him. But I have to admitone thing that I miss him a lot! Having no siblingaround to hang on at home makes even the mostluxurious place extremely numb. I feel that void forthe past three years. Our relation has taken adifferent form now. It’s like the blissful blue wherethere large amount of trust on each other and therehas been a lot of stability and peace in ourrelationship. Now I can count on him during all mytrials and tribulations time.

For the past few years friends have taken a foremostplace in life. I at times feel like i have been trying towoo them all the time with my accomplishments. Ithrow parties for them, treat them like butterflies andin return i get nothing. I correlate to the pink color. Iam silly and immature but have unconditional love forthem (though sometimes I feel like they don’treciprocate).but that is life I guess. You go insanebehind people and stuff that don’t treasure you. Ihardly understood who my dear ones were and whowere not. I sometimes get strangled in this perplexedrelationship. I fail to recognize which color is moreimportant for my life right now. People for whom I hadbeen like bubbly brown, seriously involved with theirlives and protected them from all awful and dreadfulthings have absconded me now and for all those who

Lost but was found only after I surpassed my teens. Isuddenly felt as if I was the boss. I had the feeling asif I knew everything. I didn't felt the need to pay heedto my parent’s call. Friends were more important tome then. Keeping them happy was the utmost priorityand getting all the things I eye on was also a must. There was no end to my needs and no end to mytantrums. Thank god that phase passed on. It wasperfect life for me. Always high on spirits.

Then suddenly my mom knocked the door calling meto take my lunch. I said her I will be down at thedining table in 10 minutes. She went downstairs and Ithen began to think about her. Just like the variousphases of life, even the colors of relationshipchanges. Like the traits of magenta color my mom isperfectly and emotionally balanced person. For herkeeping peace and harmony in the family are theutmost priorities. But her love for me is as pure, simple and innocent as the warm white color for me. Iknow whatever I do and however bad I behave shewould love me unconditionally and boundlessly. Butsometimes I fail to reciprocate it I guess. I was mymommy’s strawberry ice-cream earlier but now I evendon’t have time to involve in any good conversationwith her. I shout and yell at her whenshe doesn't prepare something that i staunchlydislike. I have started labeling her choice as outdated.I have started confronting her on each and everymatter. I stopped enjoying her company and startedtreating her as my personal assistant who has torespond every time I make a command. I havestopped hanging around with her and have startedcriticizing her for every petty mistake she makes. Arealization stuck to my head that I had been brutal toher in every possible way. Somewhere down the lineour relation is getting strained and I have been solelyresponsible for it. I have decided not to make ourrelation as sore and heartbreaking as the grey color.

The same goes for my dad. My daddy is a gloriousgolden color according to me.royal, affluent, sophisticated and successful. The golden colorimplies affluence, material wealth and extravaganceand it perfectly suits his persona. He fulfills all mynecessity and fosters all my luxuries. He is a life giverand nurturer. He fills the gracious green color in mylife. I used to love to go out on his bike and weenjoyed chocolate candies on every weekend. Butnow whenever he brings some candy I yell at himsaying that I am not a kindergarten baby. I used toappreciate whenever he used to hand me ten rupees

have the lunch. Mom and dad both were waiting forme. They knew my condition. They knew how fragile Iwas. To lighten the mood my dad cracked few jokesand even mom joined him. They wanted to cheer meup. When nothing worked, my dad looked at me andsaid “is the world over?”. I replied “no”. He then saidhe and mom were not at all disappointed because Ihad done pretty well in the first attempt. He said therewould be many such tests where I would face theunexpected results but that should not disheartenone’s heart. He also added that he and mom wouldalways be there besides me. Whatever happens theywill accept with open heart. Down in my heart Iwanted to cry but didn't wont to sob in front of them.So I controlled myself and smiled at them.

Each and every walk of life has a color associatedwith it. Some people would brighten the colors of yourlife and some would darken it. I don’t which colorwould splash on my life at which moment. But thischanging color of life definitely gives a good amountof experience and maturity to deal with it.

have been striving hard to make my life a perfectcolorful one are been mistreated by me. The colors ofmy life have been changing so fast that I fail tocomprehend which color is flowing out of my life.

Coming back to today’s fuss. I was very excited in themorning as one of my results was going to be out. Ihad done well in it and was pretty sure of coming outwith flying colors. I dressed up well today and waslooking forward for the results. I had even plannedwhat will be my next venture after the results wereout. At 12’o clock the results were out and I was takenaback with the unexpectedly unexpected results. Ihad scored average marks. Not good not bad. It wasdefinitely a blond black moment. I had worked veryhard for that. I didn't know what to do. I felt like as ifmy dreams were been crushed under the feet. Mymood was completely off. I had also indulged into anargument with one of my closest friend. I felt being leftout. I was drained .I reached home and bursted theresult and then went upstairs. Final year, finalsemester. Loads of expectations loads of pressuresand importantly loads of dream.Crushes didn't change to love. Some friends changedto foes. The hard work didn't payoff. I had some heartbreaking reality checks. Flattering was not workinganymore. Friends were been recruited by companiesbut me still clueless. Lost, crippled and stumblingaround with the broken wings.

Mom again knocked the door. I went downstairs to

Blue is a cool calming color that shows creativity and intelligence. It is apopular color among large corporations, hospitals and airlines. It is acolor of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust. Blue has a calming effect onthe psyche. Blue is the color of the sky and the sea and is often used torepresent those images. Blue is a color that generally looks good inalmost any shade and is a popular color among males. Blue is not agood color when used for food as there are few blue foods found innature and it suppresses the appetite.

Interview with Abhishek JainYOUTH ICON

First of all tell us how the concept of movie KeviRite Jaish born?

On this question Abhishek said “The thing is verysimple, as going abroad is very prominent in ourGujarati Culture. From our childhood to through outwhole life, we used to listen the desire of goingabroad from every second person. While thinking ofmaking a Gujarati film we had kept in mind that wewill make a film which connects Gujarat the most! Andnothing better than going to America can connect themost. So, we made a film on the concept of goingabroad.”

Normally there is a traditional scenario of a ruralplotting and background in Gujarati cinema, but “Kevirite jaish” is nothing like it. We asked Abhishek,

How Kevi Rite Jaish is different from otherGujarati films?

Abhishek explained in a quite techno term “As wewanted to make our film technologically strong aswell, we decided to use the best HD Cameraavailable in the market. We used RED LC Camera, which was also used in the Hollywood movie SocialNetwork.”

BuddyBits team always tries to present the unique things to the most extent. And with pursuing thiseffort we contacted Mr. Abhishek Jain. Now the most basic question is Who? And the answer is simply“A director”. And the second fundamental question, What’s the big deal in it? And here all things take atwist. A director himself is an extraordinary person as he has the ability to create the world of hisimagination and make it enough believable to the audience. Directorship is a tough task to do, butmore tough is to create a revolutionary way in the general tradition’s field. And Abhishek Jain is one ofthose, who create their own way and leave marks for others to follow. Abhishekh Jain is a director ofGujarati movie “Kevi Rite Jaish”. The same movie which has broken all the traditional beliefs related toGujarati regional cinema. He has done assistant directorship with Subhash Ghai in “Black and white”and “Yuvraj”. He even worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali which was not came out in lime light.

Here is an abstract of our conversation with Abhishek. We started the interviewing with the question,

BuddyBits E-magazine | Issue 4 | April 2013

Page 10: BuddyBits Issue 4

How you selected the Cast for kevi Rite Jaish?

Abhishek answered “Cast selection was not sodifficult, as the faces in the movie are familiar facesapart from Divyang Thakkar and Veronica Gautamand i have been watching them on television sincemy childhood. So, we chosen the best suitable castaccording to the characters of the script. Of coursewith the help of our cast director.”

Going towards further more detailing of castingespecially for the actress Veronica. As it was newsthat the actress is found from the site Facebook.com.

You have got your Female Lead from Facebook! How that happened?

On hearing this Abhishek explained that how he wasspecific about his co-protagonist femalecharacter. “While searching for female lead of themovie, we had gone through lot of people ofAhmedabad and we auditioned lot of people inMumbai as well. But we were not getting perfect girlsuitable to the character of NRI girl Aayushi. Than wedecided to find out the Linguistics student thinkingthat it is good for the character justification. Westarted searching on facebook. Firstly we were notgetting any linguistics student who is ready to do thisfilm. But after sometime, I found a girl from Surat onfacebook with the help of my friend. Then wecontacted her through facebook. She replied us aftera few days. And after some communication it cameout that she is a linguistic student studying inMumbai. So finally we got a combination of both, anactress and a linguistics student, Veronica KalpanaGautam.”

While chitchat on pre-production stuff, can’t forget themost important thing of production- Promotion. Weasked Abhishek,

How you maintained the promotion of the movie?

He said “Audio Visual Media is the best media topromote your film. But in Gujarat, it’s very difficult topromote the film via this kind of media due to lack ofchannels. So we decided to promote this film indifferent manner. We widely used Social Media topromote our film. Then we publicize our film by printmedia, radio and television. The main reason behindchoosing social media is that now a day’s one can’tbear a day without log in to the network. Yet its

bearable if not reading news paper or watching newson TV. ”

If talking about films, music is mandatory item to bementioned. Music of the film composed beautifully byMehul Surti. Mehul surti pore his best music just likehis previous work . Indeed, film’s music is anothercomplimentary item to the audience.

Music of KRJ is awesome. How you connectedwith Mehul Surti?

As the project “Kevi Rite Jaish” was going to be totallydifferent in whole Gujarati regional cinema, Abhisheksaid that he didn’t want any Gujarati music director, just to be sure for getting difference from thetraditional garba touch of music. He further added“We also met some Bollywood music directors butthey were not able to understand Gujarati element. Some of them composed music for us as well, but itwas not such suitable for movie. Then we decided tofind out some individuals to compose music forKRJ. We listened lots of individuals from Gujarat forthe same. Mean while, we came to know about MehulSurti from the Tahuko.com website. Mehul’s music isthe WOW factor for us. We loved his music. Hismusic is totally different from the normal Gujaratimusic in positive term of course.”

The best part of the movie, which you want toshare with readers of BuddyBits.com.

On this question Abhishek replied in excitement“Whole shooting of the film was completed in 23days. In these 23 days we covered 34 locations ofAhmadabad city even though our whole team wasinexperienced! Even as a director it is my first film. Toshoot 34 locations in 23 days with inexperiencedteam was madness apart. And according to me, thismadness is the best part of the entire project.”Seriously sometimes madness provides charm forliving.

10BuddyBits E-magazine | Issue 4 | April 2013

Page 11: BuddyBits Issue 4

He said that he wants to make more Gujarati films. As itsalways give pleasure when you compete with hurdles andcomplete with victory. He wants to enrich the Gujaratiregional cinema with all the possible creativity and everyaspects. And he given message to our viewers to watchGujarati movies and appreciate such efforts. Well, Will willfind its way. You just need is determined will.

From Abhishek’s conversation it’s concluded that his

11

determination turned in to a new wave. He opens the door for the Gujarati regional cinema tomake over and changed fully. In our conversation we found Abhishek so down to earth yet soenthusiastic and provoking for his own ethics.

Nilambari Solanki is the founder of BookMan, which provides books, music & movies at your doorstep.Once can visit their store or dial them to buy or rent the products and they also provide the homedeliver & pick-up services.

Interview with Nilambari SolankiSTARTUP TALK

Please tell us something about you.

Currently, I’m a second year student of PoliticalScience. A student of Science, I shifted fromScience to Humanities for my utmost love of SocialService and the desire to do something moremeaningful for the society. I want to do my bit. At thecore, I can describe myself as a person who lives andfollows her heart. I truly appreciate the value of life, understand my goal of spiritual realization andadvancement; and my work reflects that.

What is concept and idea behind BookMan?

My experiences with NGOs and social organisationsmade me understand the lack of financial, project andorganizational sustainability in those structuresbecause of which they haven’t been able to bringabout revolutions in spite of their dedication, will, talent and efforts. Thus the idea behind BookMan wasto design a self-sustainable model that generatesfinances and resources to create a platform ofcontinuous and consistent evolution of actions toachieve the aim of making knowledge accessible asan effort to solve the problems of the world at thegrass root level.

"Bookman" is thus the door-step delivery library I'vestarted in Ahmedabad to reach and maintainleadership role in the arena of Modern Libraryservices by focusing on providing innovative, bestquality recreational products that are easilyaccessible, affordable with best quality of Service. The profits from this business are invested intomaking Slum libraries and other structures whichbasically makes knowledge accessible to the under-privileged society. The simple basic concept is to earnmoney and invest in service to the society.

How the idea of BookMan born?

As mentioned above, the experiences of the problemsof financial, project and organizational sustainabilityled to the solution of BookMan which basically acts asthe foundation base for generating resources toenable the social service which I would love to do.It is also a model that aims to encourage and help theyouth to create and replicate such sustainablebusiness structures. Such businesses can then buildresources in order to achieve sustainability for socialservice.

What difficulties you have faced while convertingyour idea into reality?

I started my own library at the age of 20. So to bevery honest, the most initial, in fact the problem whichI still face is to bring trust and credibility to my ageand the brand “BookMan”. This might sound veryfunny, but this is a fact that my first five minutesalways go in convincing people that the library whichcrossed its first million in the first year itself bycrossing 450 members is run by a now 21 year old.India was not a country where the youngentrepreneurs were accepted gracefully in the marketand society. Instead of supporting and guiding theyoung, the more experienced people have alwaysfound it more important to ascertain that 20-year-oldscannot run a business. The only difficulty thus I think Ifaced and still face is that “My age as a fact isconsidered more important than my work in action”.

How did you get into Entrepreneurship?

I think the best way one can contribute to the societyis either through business by which you have the vitalcomponents which affect and can change the societyand system for the better or through law by which you

can challenge; change and fight with the system forjustice. To practice law, you need the appropriatedegrees for which I’ll have to wait till I finish myBachelors, but business was somethingthat didn't need any degree to practice.

Can you tell us some advantages &disadvantages of being a woman entrepreneur?

I’m just an entrepreneur who happens to be a woman.Personally, I think there are no advantages ordisadvantages of being a woman entrepreneurbecause I don’t think the gender matters. So, thereare no pros and cons “of being a womanentrepreneur” according to me. The only factors atplay here would be the perceptions of the society.

What is your future plan?

The future plan is to make this model perfect andmore efficient which will allow expansion and thus bethe source of inspiration for all those who want tocontribute to the society. We are already coming upwith a library in the Paldikankaj Village for the underprivileged people there.

13

What message would you give toupcoming entrepreneurs?

Be true to your real self. Be yourself. Do whatyou love. Be the first cause. Have noexpectations. Become aware. Grow. Make thechoice. Just do your karma. Be brave. Followyour heart. Be awesome.

Orange is a combination of Red and Yellow. It is also a bright and warmcolor. It represents fire, the sun, fun, warmth and tropical images. It isconsidered as a fun light color that has appetizing qualities to it. Orangeincreases oxygen supply to the brain and stimulates mental activity. Asa citrus color, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulatesappetite. Any design relating to the tropics, something fun, easy goingand youthful should incorporate some type of orange into the design. Adarker, richer shade of orange can be associated with autumn.

Bachhpan was started by a group of 8 friends whilethey were in college two years ago. From that stage,we have grown to become a family of more than 200hardworking and committed volunteers who haverealized their social responsibility and are ready tochange things.

You are working for underprivileged children, is itfor particular school or organization?

Not at all. For us all children are the same. They havesame Right to education like we did. We tend to helpthose who are in real need without thinking about anycaste, religion or other factor.

What kind of activities you do under Bachhpan?

At Bachhpan, we do not aim at impossible goals likeeradicating child labour as whole. But we believe intaking small and effective steps which can bring somelong term changes. Keeping this in mind we havestarted three projects:

Project Aadhaar: Here we try to help childrenworking at tea stalls, restaurants and factories byenrolling them to schools and taking care of everybasic needs; from books to clothes and food tomedicine till they complete their schooling. We havealready enrolled 25 children under this project.

Project Paathshala: Here a team of our volunteers(college students) go to different slums in the city andtake free evening classes on daily basis. We have inall 6 Paathshalas running daily in Anand andAhmedabd.

ABCD (Any Body Can Dream): We have set-uplibrary at each Paathshala with educational andentertainment books to increase their reading skills.

Have you got any recognition/ appreciation fromany organization/ media?

We believe in working hard for society and thus thinklittle about recognition or appreciation by others. Stillwe have been appreciated by dignitaries likeCollector of Anand, S.G patel Sir-Secretary CVM etc. Also we got a standing ovation for our efforts by ahuge crowd of 500 people at Amul Volcanoevent,Anand.

Who are the active/ key persons of Bachhpanright now?

Like I said, Bachhpan is like a family where all of usare at a same level which is being a “Volunteer” andwe tend to work in the same manner dividing eachtask among ourselves and giving our 100%.

From where are you getting fund/ donation foryour NGO right now?

Proudly, the major source of funding comes fromCollege students and faculty members who donatessome amount every three months. But also once in awhile, we get funding from other individuals andorganisations too.

Why do you work for Bachhpan?

An N.G.O., run by Students!STAR OF THE MONTH

Bachhpan is a reg. NGO started by college youth in2011. It is a family of 150+ young, energetic andresponsible volunteers who have realized their socialresponsibility and are taking active measures to changethe current scenario of the society addressing issues likechild labour and education.

14BuddyBits E-magazine | Issue 4 | April 2013

Page 15: BuddyBits Issue 4

There is no personal interest as such for working atBachhpan. But I have to agree that it is a greatopportunity for volunteers like us to demonstrate ourmanagerial and leadership skills and use it to solvereal life societal problems.

What message would you like to give to inspireyouth to do such activity?

I believe that the time and money wasted by us duringour college life can be utilized better. I would requesteveryone to take some time out and visit ourPaathshala to witness the magical atmosphere wehave created there. A single visit will be more thanenough to inspire anyone.

Red is a very strong color that is often used on caution and warningsigns. It is often associated with stop or "beware". It’s a hot color thatevokes a powerful emotion of passion, lust, sex, energy, blood and war.Red is a good color to use for accents that need to take notice overother colors. Red is a symbol of pride and strength. It is also a sportycolor that many car manufactures choose to showcase their signaturevehicles.

ESSENCE OF LIFE

No matter where you are and with which person youare, it’s only you and you who can understandyourself totally. Friend and even your relative pretendlike they’re with you but actually none of them arewith you. None of them are selfless and why the hellthey should be? Actually they’re having their own lifeto deal with. They’re okay at their places.

Life is like a multi-flavored candy. It gives you varioustastes as per the time. It depends upon you, your wayof thinking, your behavior with individuals, your beliefand your interest towards different things as well aspeople.

Sometime sweet, sometime bitter and sometimes allthese tastes can be felt by you as per the phaseyou’re passing through. It’s normal actually but tounderstand its ordinariness one must have propervision. This proper vision can’t be gained simply, togain that vision one must pass through severalphases as well as experiences.

Experiences can be of any type, it doesn’t matter thetype of experience but the thing merely matters isPEOPLE! Yes, people with whom you’re concerning.People play a very essential role in making your life

like a multi-flavored candy. They may put you introuble sometime, they may help you sometime andsometime they even don’t notice your existence orsay your identity. They’re only doing what they aredoing usually.

Such incidents make you feel uncomfortable and youconsider all these things as enormous things butthings are not enormous actually, it’s your visionwhich magnifies tiny things as enormous things. So,you have to enhance your vision as well asthoughtfulness so that you can taste the flavor of yourlife.

SOMETIMES SWEET, SOMETIMES BITTERSOMETIMES SWEET, SOMETIMES BITTERTHAT’S THE WAY HOW YOU SHINELIKE GLITTER!

Life- A Multi-flavored CandyLIFE!

I just think for a moment,Why my knowledge must be judged based on my mark sheet?Does it always tell the truth?Does it make my life more sooth? Before the results come, mom’s having high tensions..I always wonder whether I would stand firm on my Dad’s expectations..After the results come, mom gives lectures in long sessions..And my grades change my dad’s facial expressions..I am in great dilemma,I don’t understand how to overcome this trauma..I prefer to stay in silent,Not understanding how to score marks more decent..People always expect, but when I lose they suspect..At times I lose their all respect..Prior to my results I am in great expressions,But post to my results I am in great depressions..Can’t see it, can’t get rid of it,At times I loose my sheen but still have to hold my nerves with a lot of keen..I wish my lust for excellence and my search for pleasure doesn’t lose its place under theshadows of my result!I hope this trauma ends someday because Ii hate this wordTo the core “Result Result Result”!

My Favorite Time: ChildhoodMEMORIES

There were the days when I used to get up early in the morning. Ibrushed my teeth fast. I ran fast, so that my teacher could notpunish if I reach late to the school. I completed all my homework.

I still remember that how foolish I was! Especially, I believed thatAmerica is in India. I just knew the names of countries but didn’thave idea that where they’re located.

I still remember that I was unaware that, how things work, because Inever thought about it at that time.

I still remember that I was notworried about what washappening in the elections andwhat was happening in theglobal market.

The only works were, tocomplete the breakfast beforeour friend, to catch our friendbefore he catches us in hideand seek, to raise our fingerbefore another raises and toanswer the question asked byour teacher before a girlanswers it .

I really wish to sit on the first bench of my schoolwith my friends again. I really wish to eat thoseKachi Keri and Aambodiya and share it with mymates. I really wish to run fast when my school bellrings, to again catch my cycle first. I really wish todance in rain and to close my umbrella. I reallywish to swing long swings in Jhula with themagain. I really wish to demand chocolates fromelders again. I really want to enjoy crackersinstead of Sutlibomb, and want to find unburnedcrackers next day. I really want to make planesfrom my notebook pages and want to fly them frommy terrace. I really want to make illusionaryshapes in clouds and share with my mom and dad.I really want to color my wall with my crayonsagain. Just I really wish .

Childhood is like unforgettable era. It never comesagain. It does not have specific words to describe, you can just feel it. Just live these days. And I amsure you will miss them one day. Like me, and likeall.

How beautiful those days were! We ran to catch those butterflies sat on the flower of garden where weused to play every evening with our grandpa. We used to say goodbye to every vehicle by waivinghands. We used to ask too many questions to each other. We listened to them carefully when our momdad explains something to us with deep expressions. But, when I see myself trapped in this time travel,I really wish to go back and enjoy those days again. I really wish to go there, stay there and pass mylife.

A GriefPOEM

Why don't you come here? Why don't you wipe my tear?

This is an ocean of sorrow, Why did you break my heart you borrow?

I know you'll not come, I know you've found someone.

A question, a feeling that continuously killing. You don't know dear, the way you're dealing.

Every minute, every second, it's hard to survive every season.Counting my heart beats, because there is no other reason.

I know you'll not come, I know you've found someone.

Why have you done it dear?Is it an art to play with my tear?

This is an ocean of sorrow, Why did you break my heart you borrow?

I know you'll not come, I know you've found someone.

Ain’t it so awkward, the way you are treating me? Ain’t it so cruel the way you are killing me?

Your way of approaching is so heart-breaking,Every moment we lived was so breath-taking.

Rematerializing MyselfWELNESS

It has been so long that I have not written kind of articles that I used to writebefore. Subjects on which I used to write were life, happiness, experiences withfriends, relationships, personality, beauty, success, inspiration etc but now I cansee an enormous change and I admit it that, I had never thought it that so manychanges will take place in my writing. It seems that I am a part of a revolution inwhich I have to initiate something; I have to lead my cohorts and support themat an extreme level. The way we are going forward is totally beyond belief, atthis time I can remember a line of BUZZ LIGHTYEAR (A fictional character from‘Toy stories’ that I used to watch in my childhood days.) and that line was “Toinfinity.. And beyond! ”. I really miss that line so much, for me it was like a tinysource of inspiration, a gleam and an endless joy.

That time span was completely awesome and awe-inspiring when I used towatch several cartoon series namely Popoye, Scooby-Doo, Swat kats, Powerpuff girls, Dextor’s laboratory, Flinstones and my Favorite one Samurai Jack. Iguess, all 90’s kids know about above cartoon series. It was like a new world forus, wasn’t it? At that time we neither owned laptops nor tablets, still we enjoyedalot! And today we are living in the era of tech gadgets, yet we don’t feel thatjoy we had when we were child.

Now, coming back to the track, it has always been an amazing journey that Istarted after Schooling days and had so many fantasies about college life. Ifinally, started studying Mechanical Engineering which was one of my dreams.Everything was going so harmonically, so delightfully. I met new people whowere strangers and then become friends. My area of exploration was broaderthan any other that is why I got so many buddies and even today I am lively incontact with them.

It’s almost completion of my engineering and I can say that, besides study Ilearned so many lessons that are completely related to life and saying so manythings those are as true as heaven. In earlier stages; for me, digesting truthswere nearly impossible; I even didn’t know how to deal with all those things, during starting period I felt broken when I failed at many things, none wasresponsible for those terrible falls. I woke up, prepared myself for the newchallenges; I had decided not to give up and made it possible.

26BuddyBits E-magazine | Issue 4 | April 2013

27

Interaction with new people becomes a routine when you start your college life, strangers become friends forever. I admit that the group of friends you have incollege stays lifelong. Being clearer, let me admit one more thing that, if I would nothave best buddies I am having right now, re-materializing myself would not bepossible for me. I have never been so comical if I would not have those buddies.

From preteen to teen, it has always been a blossoming experience of mine and it isin continuation. I guess, it is a re-materialization of memories and moments livedgladly. It is a jamboree of unique kind that will never come again, an enjoyment ofnew kind and say extravaganza at where music is at its peak without anyinstrument. At last this jamboree will last “To infinity. And beyond”!

The Lost Boy in the Crazy World!

MISTAKE! This is a small word but can create a huge difference. Most of thereaders are thinking right now that why the hell this man is using this word inthe starting of this article? Is he trying to say something? Or he made lot ofmistakes in his life. Well both the assumptions could probably right orwrong. Mistakes have their own values. Usually people say that one shouldlearn from the previous mistake and move on.

Well, they say “MOVE ON” but where? To another one? No. Mistakes arethe part of the life and we should understand that. As I said mistakes havetheir own values. Some mistakes may lead us to the troubles and some ofthem may lead us to our destiny.

When I say destiny what comes exactly to your mind, your dream? If yourdream comes to your mind then you are very lucky person. Every person inthis world has a dream but those who can see their dreams to become theirdestiny are the lucky ones. It’s a simple thing which runs in our mind or I cansay in our heart. Both have their own connections with the dreams.

28BuddyBits E-magazine | Issue 4 | April 2013

Page 29: BuddyBits Issue 4

29

I am an engineering student and I am about to complete it. It was my dream to become an engineer. Andfinally I am the one who is achieving it. But I am in the field of information technology (a boring one) whichI consider the biggest mistake in my life. Anyways, I am the one who has to accept that mistake and moveon (“MOVE ON” remember). Right now I am moving on the path which I consider a mistake and I amaware that this mistake will only be my destiny. I wish I could be wrong on my last sentence.

Sometimes, I wonder if I got admission in my favorite branch Aeronautical or Mechanical than perhaps, Icouldn’t meet the persons whom I call “my friends” in the present day. There might be a different scenarioof my world. I might be a different person. So, whatever I have done in my past doesn’t matter now. Itwon’t change anything in the future. I have my friends today which I don’t consider as a mistake.

Friends are definitely a special part of the life. Some of them are very special. We usually share thingswith them. They know us better than anyone. In some matters they understand us the way others can’t,not even our parents. So I am glad that I met friends like these. I am still on the path of my mistake butwhen I met my lovely friends on this path I consider that mistake a beautiful one. And I will always bethankful to them no matter where I will be or no matter where they will be.

After taking a left turn from the gate of our college there is a big, cruel world waiting for us. I can see thatworld right outside the window of my class. The all money loving people are standing there with a cup ofcoffee in their hand and they want us to join them. And I tell them thank you very much! I don’t like coffee. Ihave my own way of thinking and my own way of finding happiness.

At last in this article, I would like to suggest to my readers that we live in the crazy world so live with somecraziness. Do the things that you actually like to do! Find more friends and true love. And alwaysremember there is no such things as enemy there are always friends whom we haven’t met yet.

Guru Purnima!

Days aback while sitting on the parapet, watching the dusk noon andvultures bidding the sun goodbye, stars prepared to twinkle and moonapproaching in palanquin, when suddenly I got distracted with a harshmusic. While rewinding the songs in mobile, I actually rewound the pages ofmy life.

How life has changed from simple cute students, crying for a single fight, friends means everything to share with and then the unending story of “kitta”and “bitta”. But today standing on a competitive platform, running in a ratrace, I realized that I have left everything aback. Humans are now trying tomake everything Hi-Tech.

Computers have become SUPER-COMPUTERS, internet has becomeBROAD-BAND, railways have turned to MAGLEVS and now its heights that,MAN has become SUPERMAN, BATMAN & SPIDERMAN. But whileeverything is advancing, small & handy why has man added a compactnessin relationship? Relations earlier meant ‘SUBMITTING’ yourself wholly andsolely to others is now, ‘SUBTRACTING’ yourself wholly and solely fromothers. It’s sad that relations are diminishing but even worse is, its valueshave lost their foundations.

When did the eternal word MAA changed to MOM, MAMMA? and now ‘HEYSWEETY ‘is unmarked. Today you are tagged ‘friend’ only if you have thecapability to tie a funky friendship belt on each other’s wrist. You are a goodparent only if you have the potential to buy your child all branded clothes, latest phones a bike to ride on; and weirdest of them all make is to providethem a room and the child says, “MY ROOM, MY RULES”. And you are agood child only if you have those A, A+ grades in your mark sheets.

Apple and blackberry so called the sweetest fruits have become the moststylish gadgets. Life was so beautiful when apple and blackberry were justfruits.

Library racks may be filled with love stories like “TWILIGHT”,”NEW MOON”& god knows how many point someone and how many states, but not evena single book on culture, philosophies, religion etc. It’s like “god made man,man made money and money made man mad.”

Among all these relationships there is one eternal, divine & most pure formof all. A relation between a guru and a shishya. Guru just a two letter wordbut eternal source of knowledge, a direct messenger of god and speakingtechnically an ANTIVIRUS to remove all viruses not only from mind but alsofrom heart.

They are like magnetic compass showing appropriate direction, a charger tocharge the batteries of your life, a cement to keep the bricks of your successjoint and finally a catalyst to convert our metal heart into 24 carat puregolden heart.

And yes, after many years of prayer, plea, begs and a little of devotion, godfinally gave me my gurus SAMYAK and SHRAVAN.SAMYAK-As she fits the melody of cuckoo’s singing, peacock’s dancing, baby’s laughter, bells jingling-all these only in her little small dimple? Herpreaching reflects as if she is reading e-mails sent directly from god to her.SHRAVAN-A voice so melodious that even honey tastes bitter, a beauty soenormous that even colors go fade and a personality so divine that evencrystal seems to be carbon.

On this day of GURU-PURNIMA I in front of great bright moon of purnima, thank you and all my gurus from the pulses of my heart to be a guiding inmy just started life. Now, I have understood its real meaning. Finally, just one last question. After thinking a lot I m in a confusion that

are u god or his messenger?

From the beggining the G.I. Joes were in the battlewith the terror hunters. Much likely the team of snakeeyes was more powerful than the joes. Two of themmake themselves a way to escape. The joes withninjas makes a plan to defeat snake eyes which is asusual not succeded.Again Bruce is not at all in thelead role.Dwyane doing a great role again with histwo partners. The stunts, scenario and the tasks keepsyou on the edge of your seat though the story is quitestrectehd.

Verdict

It is a fun time movie to watch likely more for kids, butthe effects and sound threads were too effective andcan impress aged also.Lack of terror from the snakeeyes. The story setting up and slighty gaining the heatmight be difficult for audience to understand if theyhavn't watched the Rise of cobra. The stars of themovie will keep your eyes stuck till the end.

Oz the Great and PowerfulMOVIE REVIEW

It revolves around a con magician in circus who ishurled away from the dusty cyclone to the great landof Oz. He is not convinced as the great wizard as thepeople of Oz were expecting. But as the time passeshe comes around the problems faced by theinhabitants of Oz. In this magical land he get involveswith the witches and also some good friends like awinged monkey and a wee girl of china. Putting all hismagic arts which discovered through illusion andingenuity, he defeats the witches. Story was as simple

as a dime a dozen, more for kids but a familyentertainer.

Verdict

It is not at all a magical flick, everything is logical.Apart from few action sequences, quite comical andthe world of Oz described in a beautiful way. The 3Dand the background effect is pretty more fascinatingthe audience. Much more moralistic.

I Me Aur Main is Ishaan (John Abraham)’s story whoconsiders himself to be the best. When his live-in gf(Chitrangada Singh) says, “I Love You,” he proudlysays, “I love me too!.” Every time he faces the mirrorand says, “I’m the best, I’m the best.”

Maa-da-laadla Ishaan is a music Company executivewho lives in his rich girlfriend Anushka’s flat. One fineday he finds himself thrown out by Anushka. Soon, heshifts into an ordinary flat, where he meets a bubblyneighbor, Gauri (Prachi Desai), who is a stylist.

So here’s the man oscillating between two women, while also keeping hiskind sister Shivani (MiniMathur) and mother busy trying to sort out his messesand taking them all for granted.

There comes a point when he has to make a choicebetween his love that made him a better person orbeing a better person by taking responsibility of theactions he has done in the past.

Performances

The three good looking actors give just averageperformance.

The film appears shady and inconsistent in both thehalves. There are many plots and sub-plots that thedirector fails to join together. I’d say the screenplay isfar more selfish than John’s character in the film, leaving the audience uninterested with its shaky,

awkward bits.Musically the film has some amazingdecent tracks.

Verdict

I Me Aur Main is confused about what it actuallysets out to do. If you are a die-hard John Abrahamfan, watch the film, else its Complete waste of timeand money. I am going with disgusting 1.5 bits outof 5 .

HIMMATWALA narrates the story of a son (AjayDevgn), who comes to the village to takes revenge ofthe injustice meted out to his father (Anil Dhawan),who had been wrongly accused by the Sarpanch(Mahesh Manjrekar) of robbery.

Ravi (Ajay Devgn) is an action master, who earns hislivelihood by showing his muscle power at a club runin Mumbai by an ardent fan of Pop Legend MichaelJackson- Michael Jaikishen (Chunky Pandey). And onone odd day, the son of Rampur, Ravi decides to visithis birthplace. He goes in search of his distressedmother Savitri (Zareena Wahab) and sister Padma(Leela Jumani), and that is when his mother narratesto him the tale of her miseries.. Now this son, the'Himmatwala', is all set to take revenge.

Deft direction, intelligent plot, clever writing, multi-layered story, restrained performances, and lots ofrealism. All these things Sajid Khan’smovieHimmatwala obviously DOES NOT HAVE.

The romance lacks fire, the drama is devoid ofintensity, even the action is plain ordinary.

The Attacks of 26/11MOVIE REVIEWIn The Attacks of 26/11, RGV recreates that shockingnight of terror and bloodshed at Mumbai onNovember 26, 2008 when ten men came over in aboat and laid siege to the city. More than 160 peopledied and over 300 were injured. It was one of theworst terrorist attacks on Indian soil.

The attacks of 26/11 which claims to be the “true storyof how these attacks happened”, begins on thehijacked Indian fishing trawler Kuber, where we see

10 boys carrying backpacks. From a distance theylook like regular young boys heading for a trekkingtrip, but when the camera focuses on their faces, their expression is disturbing. It keeps a tight focuson the cops and “Jihadis” and deals only with themen on the ground on those three days, devoting itsend to a debate which is not so much on the twoversions of Islam, but God and his humanity.

The entire first half is dedicated to the horrific events

tells him how deranged and immoral his “Aaka” andhis version of “jihad” is. '26/11' lacks depth. So itsintent remains suspect, and troubling. But 26/11 is asubject few would dare to touch, and here RGVdeserves credit.

Performances

Nana Patekar shines throughout the film. He actswith full maturity and is Electrifying in every scene. But, someone, who deserves a standing ovationwould be debutante Sanjeev Jaiswal for the portrayalof the role of Ajmal Kasab onscreen. He certainlymakes you hate his character. Other cast performswell.

Verdict

The Attacks of 26/11 is a powerful subject watereddown by ineffective story-telling. This could have andshould have been so much more. It had the potentialto be both smart procedural, and terrifying action, but'26/11' sinks somewhere in the middle, But This canbe treated as Ram Gopal Varma's best work till date.I will go with generous 2.5/5 bits.

Einstein’s Birthday Special

38

Einstein Was a Fat Baby with Large Head. When Albert’s mother, Pauline Einstein gave birth to him, she thought that Einstein's head was sobig and misshapen that he was deformed!

Einstein Had Speech Difficulty as a ChildAs a child, Einstein seldom spoke. When he did, he spoke very slowly - indeed, he tried out entiresentences in his head (or muttered them under his breath) until he got them right before he spokealoud. According to accounts, Einstein did this until he was nine years old. Einstein's parents werefearful that he was retarded - of course, their fear was completely unfounded!

Einstein was Inspired by a CompassWhen Einstein was five years old and sick in bed, his father showed him something that sparked hisinterest in science: a compass.

Einstein Failed his University Entrance ExamIn 1895, at the age of 17, Albert Einstein applied for early admission into the Swiss FederalPolytechnical School (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule or ETH). He passed the math andscience sections of the entrance exam, but failed the rest (history, languages, geography, etc.)!Einstein had to go to a trade school before he retook the exam and was finally admitted to ETH ayear later.

Einstein had an Illegitimate ChildIn the 1980s, Einstein's private letters revealed something new about the genius: he had anillegitimate daughter with a fellow former student Mileva Marić (whom Einstein later married). In 1902,a year before their marriage, Mileva gave birth to a daughter named Lieserl, whom Einstein neversaw and whose fate remained unknown

Einstein Became Estranged From His First Wife, then Proposed a Strange "Contract“After Einstein and Mileva married, they had two sons: Hans Albert and Eduard. Einstein's academicsuccesses and world travel, however, came at a price - he became estranged from his wife. For awhile, the couple tried to work out their problems - Einstein even proposed a strange "contract" forliving together with Mileva

Einstein, the War Pacifist, Urged FDR to Build the Atom BombIn 1939, alarmed by the rise of Nazi Germany, physicist Leó Szilárd [wiki] convinced Einstein to writea letter to president Franklin Delano Roosevelt warning that Nazi Germany might be conductingresearch into developing an atomic bomb and urging the United States to develop its own.The Einstein and Szilárd's letter was often cited as one of the reasons Roosevelt started the secretManhattan Project [wiki] to develop the atom bomb, although later it was revealed that the bombingof Pearl Harbor in 1941 probably did much more than the letter to spur the government.Although Einstein was a brilliant physicist, the army considered Einstein a security risk and (toEinstein's relief) did not invite him to help in the project

Day in and Day out you come in touch with me, butyou still miss me totally. You love me, you hate me,you are depressed when I do not come to you, youfeel happy when I do, there are a million emotionsyou experience through me, yet you criticize me,condemn me, call me evil and all kind of bad names. You treat me like a enemy but you still want me, youwant to possess me. I do not Understand this humanbehaviour.

Personalities keep coming and going while I’mperhaps a constant factor in this constantly changingworld. Think about it, would you even want me to non-existent? Yes, my forms may change but my essencewill not. I would like to clarify some misconceptionsabout myself — home truths, which ought to beknown, recognized, understood and applied.Thereare lots of things unsaid, secrets unspoken, mysteriesstill waiting to be discovered. Your ownconsciousness will keep discovering more and moresecrets in due course. It is the stark truth of life seenfrom a powerful perspective. And what is theexpected outcome of reading and getting involved?Personally, you will feel awakened as though from adeep slumber. The steps that you will take henceforth,

in the money world will be full of awareness andconfidence.

At one point, I discovered that there was more to methan you knew about. Though I have been in your lifefor a long time, you hardly know me. Even if you thinkyou know me, you know misconstrued by the beliefsfloating around about me. Take another look at meand you will realize the potential and power of truth. For a long time I have been silent; I won’t be anylonger. “The truth shall prevail — Know the truth, speak the truth, share the truth and the truth shall setyou free.”

Hi everyone,Continuing from our discussion in the last articleabout the various important aspects of attainingFINANCIAL FREEDOM can be divided intoSOFTWARE ASPECTS & HARDWARE ASPECTS.

In the last article I mentioned few things like

üImportance of Budgeting.üYour belief system about Money.üThe Seven Stages of Money Maturity.üUnderstanding Fear and Greed Cycles in HumanBeings.üDiscipline.üUnderstanding of Macro and micro economics.üUnderstanding the effect of Compounding andInflation , etc.

Which are part of the Software aspects of Finance. Ifyou carefully look at all the topics that I havementioned here, they all essentially point out to onething, Your knowledge and Your belief systemsregarding MONEY and Wealth. So when I saySOFTWARE I do not mean any FINANCESOFTWARE literally, but it includes the softer aspectsof attaining money which most of the times thegeneral public does not focus upon. It broadlyincludes two things

1. Your belief system about money.2. Your knowledge about money.

The first point that I mentioned above is the mostimportant and the foundation of your FINANCIALFREEDOM, but unfortunately it is the most ignoredaspect which we will focus upon the most. Now whatdo I mean by Belief system about money?

If we closely observe all those people whom weconsider as wealthy all around the world, likebusiness owners, artists, sportsmen, writers, singers, actors etc. All of them have one thing in common i.e.THEY FIRMLY BELIEVE THEY CAN BE WEALTHY.

Now why do I emphasise on this?

The reason lies in our upbringing since our childhoodand also in the influences that we carry and acceptfrom our surroundings like friends, colleagues,

neighbours , relatives and most important of all OURSOCIETY etc. Since our childhood we are alwaystaught various things about money like

üYOU HAVE TO WORK HARD FOR MONEYüBEING WEALTHY IS NOT EASY, IT TAKESYEARS AND YEARS OF HARD WORK.üThis one is my favourite. YOU CANNOT BEWEALTHY. STOP DREAMING.

Also parents who are the biggest influence on thechild, most of the times when confronted by the childfor any toy or gifts answer in sentences like

üDO YOU THINK YOU ARE THE SON OFDHIRUBHAI AMBANIüFIRST GO OUT AND EARN 10 RUPEES YOUWILL REALIZE HOW DIFFICULT IT IS.üWEALTHY PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. THEYALWAYS EXPLOIT THE MIDDLE CLASS. Etc.

Now the same child grows up and unknowinglycarries all these beliefs in their subconscious mind. And medical research has proved that You are run95% because of your subconscious beliefs. So whathappens is the same child grows up and gets anexcellent Job in a multinational company. Initiallyhe/she is very happy. But once the time passes, theirneeds and wants and DESIRES increase. At thismoment they start looking for other avenues forincome. Most of the time it results in the wish to climbthe corporate ladder in the same firm or the other.

Now what happens is that the child goes for aMANAGEMENT degree and after that MBA coursestarts looking for a high paying job (compared to theirlast salary). So slowly and gradually as years pass, the grownup now also loses the chances of studyingany further as he/she now has a family and a job tolook after. Now when the family comes into picturethe one thing that invariably happens is that theexpenses increase. So again the wish of theGROWNUP to climb the corporate ladder pops up.He/She starts working hard and gets regularpromotion. But with each hike in the income there is aproportional hike in the expenses (house, entertainment, children, vacations, car, groceries, investments etc .). So again there is a need to getmore income and it goes on and on and on.

If you carefully observe the above situation, it is thestory of more than 75% of the people on the planet. They are always busy in the RAT RACE that I justmentioned above. Understand the most importantthing about money management i.e EARNINGMORE MONEY DOES NOT SOLVE YOURPROBLEMS. Have observed closely as to what is thereason for the above mentioned CHILD/GROWNUPfor not becoming wealthy and just staying middleclass all throughout their life ?

The reason is there is a great IMBALANCE in theirBELIEF about money and ACTIONS about money. They very desperately want to become rich andfamous, they also work extremely hard and yet theydo not reach their goals. The primary reason is theirbelief system does not let them do the things that therich and famous do and the result is that they staymiddle class.

Let me give you most basic and most commonexample regarding belief in money management.Everybody knows that Investing in Share Market isthe tried and tested way of getting rich over a periodof time.It is no rocket science. But MAJORITY ofpeople in our country have the belief that INVESTINGIN SHARES IS LIKE GAMBLING. So what happensis that even if they come across this avenue of gettingrich, the belief of GAMBLING which they have beentaught since childhood comes as a speedbreaker. Sothe person chooses not to invest in the Share Market. And in turn loses the opportunity to become rich.

The problem lies in the LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ANDWRONG BELIEF SYSTEMS that we have acceptedeither by choice or subconsciously. The pathway tocome out of this is AWARENESS. First and foremostbe aware that YOU CAN BECOME RICH. TheAMBANI’s , TATA’s , Birla’s and all the other peoplewhom all of us consider RICH have achieved itbecause they have very strong foundations in form oftheir extremely firm belief of becoming RICH.

So right away just let go of all the negatives that youare carrying in your mind regarding becoming wealthyand start feeling good that acquiring wealth by legalmeans is vey divine and good. IT’s NOT A SIN TO BERICH rather ITS A BOON TO BE RICH.

In the next article we shall further talk about Beliefs, till then just have a good time with yourself write downon a piece of paper as to what are your negative andpositive beliefs regarding becoming rich. Be Honest inwhat you write. Keep Smiling. God bless YOU.

Tigers & You

If you think you are just one person and there isn'tmuch you can do to save the tiger, you are wrong. There are plenty of ways you can help. For a start, youcould join Kids for Tigers or one of the many tigerconservation organizations working on the issue. Hereare some more ideas.

Start your Own Rally

One of the best things you could do to save the tiger isto spread the message. You could do this by takingpart in, or starting your own rally. All you have to do isget a few of your friends who love tigers to get a few oftheir friends who love tigers and gather together at apublic place. With posters and pamphlets in support ofthe tiger, you'd be amazed at how much interest youwill generate.

Start a Signature Campaign

If you know that there are tigers in a forest near yourhometown, start a petition to declare the area a tigerreserve. Create awareness about the area and gatheras many signatures as you can. Make sure your localgovernment hears you loud and clear. Taking yoursignature scroll to a tiger conservation organization willadd to their efforts.

Start your Own 'NGO' or Nature Club

Get your tiger-loving friends together. Educate yourfamilies and neighbours, your teachers and schoolfriends. Organize 'zero-cost' activities like nature walksand bird watching trips with your friends and family.'Notice Nature' and your understanding and respect forthe natural world will deepen. If you really understandthe issues, access images from a tiger conservationgroup and organize an audio-visual in your school.

Write Letters to the Prime Minister and toNewspapers

Make a written appeal to the Prime Minister or theChief Minister of your state asking them to make tigersa priority. Tell them that you want your country's naturalwealth protected. It is, after all, their job. If you see anenvironmental offence taking place near where youlive, report it to your local newspaper.

Raise Money for Tiger Conservation

Think up creative ways to raise money for tigerconservation. You could sell Diwali cards. If you are agreat chef, bake cakes and cookies or make lemonadefor sale during a fair or a sports day. Organize a "TigerRun" and get people to sponsor every participant thatfinishes a race. Once you have collected a sum, sendit to your favorite tiger conservation organization.

Be a Good Earthling

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Refuse. Turn off the tapwhile you brush, turn out the light when you leave aroom, use less paper. Don't use plastic bagsunnecessarily. Use glass over Styrofoam and don't buystuff you don't really need. These seem like smallthings but they aren't. When you save the earth'sresources, you are saving tigers.

Kishore Biyani (CEO, Future Group) was inAhmedabad to attend an interactive session on "FDIin Retail: The Way Forward", organized by GujaratChamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI).

Giving an insight into the real issue faced by theIndian retail market Kishore Biyani guarded the FDIissue saying it cannot damage the retail market oflocal retailers (kiranawallas). He insisted of fightingfor a larger pie in the manufacturing sector instead.

He said retailing is trading as in buying from themanufacturer and selling it at a higher price. Retailersare nothing more than intermediaries. He said byinflow from FDI the retail business will be in need ofmore manpower and goods, this is where the localmanufacturer comes in, the demand for finishedgoods.

done by unorganized retail (kiranawalas) and thisshare is expected to plummet to 85% by 2020 withFDI in place.
