1 Sri. B. Shyam Sunder B.A., LL.B., Ex-M.L.A. (Andhra &Karnataka) Born on 21 December 1908 at Aurangabad in Nizam’s Priencely State. where he completed his higher education and also secured a diploma in Drawing and Painting from the Bombay. Shifted with his father to Hyderabad in 1915, He is a Graduate in Political Science and Economics and earned a Law from Osmania University Hyderabad. He began to take interest in political and social activities from his college days. 1930. President Hyderabad Student Union 1931 .Founder President Young Men’s Association Hyderabad Organised the youths of the Depressed Classes to agitate against the practice of untouchablity. 1932. Joined the Swadeshi League and became General Secretary To Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Smt Sarojani Naidu Elected President of the “Literary Society Hyderabad” Founder Youth league of Ambedkerite to support the stand taken by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar at the Round Table Conference held in London in support of Separate Electorate Elected member Economic Committee of Graduates Association Elected member of the Exhibition society

Sri. B. Shyam Sunder B.A., LL.B., Ex-M.L.A. (Andhra &Karnataka)

Born on 21 December 1908 at Aurangabad in Nizam’s Priencely State. where he completed his higher education and also secured a diploma in Drawing and Painting from the Bombay. Shifted with his father to Hyderabad in 1915, He is a Graduate in Political Science and Economics and earned a Law from Osmania University Hyderabad. He began to take interest in political and social activities from his college days.

1930. President Hyderabad Student Union 1931 .Founder President Young Men’s Association Hyderabad

Organised the youths of the Depressed Classes to agitate against the practice of untouchablity.

1932. Joined the Swadeshi League and became General Secretary To Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Smt Sarojani Naidu

1941. Presided over the Annual Conference of the All India Depressed Class Conference held at Parbhani in Aurangabad district Maharashtra State and read Presidential printed address of 64 Pages.

Presided over All India Scheduled Caste’s Education Conference held in Hyderabad and read a printed address

Elected Gen. Secretary of Hyderabad State Depressed Classes Association Nominated by the Nizam’s Government, on the Education Statutory Board

1942. Nominated as a member of the Post-war reconstruction committee

Established Twenty eight free hostels in each district for the benefit of the SCs student and got them recognized by the government

1945..President All India Depressed Classes Association.

1946. .Elected President of the Hyderabad State Depressed Classes association. He was awarded a Gold Medal Khusaro-e-Deccan in recognition of Peace and social services by H.E.H. The Nizam’s Government

1947. Elected to Hyderabad Legislative Assembly.

Member Osmania University Senate Council, President Nizam’s State Railway Employees Union, Member Municipal Advisory Committee, Member Hyderabad Peace Committee. .

Organized a rally of 50,000 untouchables, peasants and workers from the 24000 villages of the Nizam’s State for pressing the right of separate electorate for the Depressed Classes to elect a candidate

of their own choice. and abolition of land lordism and introducing land reforms in the State

1948 .Elected Deputy Speaker to the Hyderabad State Legislative Succeeded in creating ONE CRORE EDUCATION TRUST FUND for the benefit of Depressed Classes and he was appointed as trustee member through a resolution passed by the Hyderabad State Legislative Assembly.

Presided over the All India Scheduled Castes Conference held in Bidar. (Karnataka)

Presided over the All India Scheduled Castes Education Conference held at Hyderabad .

Member Hyderabad Delegation to the UN’s Security Council held at Paris in 1948..He met Mr. Ho Chi Meinh and Mr.Chau en Leih and traveled all over the European Continent and USA

1950. Returned to Hyderabad from the Europe and was kept under house arrest for nine months at Poona by the Government of India

1951. He was set free in September and he once again reviewed Depressed Classes movement and mooted an idea of forming a Federation among Minorities

1952. The first general election in free India he contested for an assembly Seat from Chanchalga Hyderabad and lost.

Elected President of All India Depressed Classes Association.

1957. Elected as MLA to Mysore Assembly from Bhalki Constituency in Bidar District, Karnataka State

1960. Addressed a joint meeting with Sardar Master Tara Singh at Nanded in Maharashtra and formed a federation of Minorities

1962. Contested the third General Election for a seat in Assembly from Aland and Parliament seat from Bidar, but lost both to the congress candidate

1964. Chairmen, Socialist Party of India, Elected by the All India Socialist Convention held at Delhi after the demise of Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia.

1968. .He founded and organized “ BHARATIYA BHIM SENA” a social-Cultural organisation as self-defense, self-reliance and self-respect Movement based on the natural instinct and self-preservation

Presided over the All India Backward Classes and Other Minorities Convention held at Lucknow , Uttar Pradesh with Shri E.V.Ramaswamy Naiker, Sri.Dr.Fareedi and Bhante Bhadat Anand Kaushalya

Presided over the All India SC/ST Prathinidhi Sabha held at Nanded in Maharashtra. The Four Immediate Needs of 15 Crores Suppressed human beings in India and demanded the Marathawada University to be Named after Dr.Ambedker.

Served as an Executive Council Member of the Peoples Education Society founded by Dr.B.R.Ambedker

1970. Presided over All India Muslim Political convention held at Delhi

1973. Chief Guest of the first Rationalist Conference at Bangalore which was presided over by Sri.E.V.Rama Swa Naiker and Prof Dharam Lingam

1975. Died on 19th Dec at his sister’s residence in Hyderabad
