    Background ofLinearity Limit check

    Its always testing enzymes with the method of Kinetics;

    In this kind of measurement, its supposed that theabsorbance changing speed remains constant during thereaction;

    So it should be a straight line as the reaction curve; Linearity is to check if the reaction curve is straight

    enough (thus, if the reaction is correct) to measure theconcentration of Kinetics items.

    Value ofLinearity Limit setting

    The linearity ranges from 0 to 1, and the default value is0.20000.

    If set, BS-200 will automatically calculate thelinearity during every measurement (as the next slide )and compare the result to the linearity limit and flag the

    result exceeding the defined limit.

    Background ofSubstrate Limit check

    Its always testing enzymes with the method of Kinetics;

    In this kind of measurement, its supposed that there issurplus substrate in the reagent (enough for the testing);

    When the samples concentration is higher than its linearrange, the substrate will be exhausted, and then thetesting result will not be correct;

    Substrate Limit is to check if the reaction is processedcorrectly.

    Value ofSubstrate Limit setting

    The Substrate Limit can be set from 0 to 50000(absorbance);

    In ascending reactions, it could be 20000~25000; and itcould be 0~5000 for descending reactions (eg nextslide ).

    If set, BS-200 will automatically compare absorbancevalue with the Linearity Limit and flag the result exceedingthe defined limit.
