Dear Angus Friends, It is once again my pleasure to welcome you to the annual Bruns Angus Farms 22nd Production Sale. This set of bulls have been carefully engineered to provide both calving ease and growth attributes, rigidly sorted to offer only the most outstanding bulls, and then carefully grown to present themselves as the rugged, athletic, range ready herdsires they will soon become. Leagues of satisfi ed former customers have come to rely on the quality genetics and the service after the sale that has made the Bruns family one of the most dependable source of superior Angus genetic material in the state. In preparation of this catalog I was overcome by the number of low birth weight bulls with weaning weights in the 750-850 lb. range. Many of these have exceeded 1400 lbs at a year. More than half of this offering we have deemed as suitable for use on heifers. Moreover

Bruns Angus welcomes you with great enthusiasm to our 22nd annual bull sale. These are cer-

tainly changing times for the livestock and farming industry. We at Bruns Angus concentrate on

raising cattle that reach the next level of performance that the livestock industry demands. Bruns

Angus strives on raising cattle with moderate frames, calving ease, performance, carcass traits,

and maternal strengths.

We at Bruns Angus feel that this years set of bulls is the stoutest and most balanced set of bulls

we have ever raised. We knew last spring that this years calves could exceed past years but they

went above and beyond our expectations. Weaning and Yearling weights were record highs for

us. When you examine these bulls you will know what we are talking about. They are physically

sound, have great dispositions, and have huge spreads in their EPD’s.

This year we decided not to put any yearling heifers or bred cattle on the sale. We will have 35

registered open heifers and 15 young pairs for sale private treaty.

The sale will be held in our heated sale facility on the farm. Please feel free to come to the farm

ahead of time to examine the sale offering.
