About the Brooks Rehabilitation/UNF Residency and Fellowship ProgramThe Brooks Rehabilitation/UNF Residency and Fellowship Program is dedicated to the professional development of our staff. This program is a collaboration between Brooks Rehabilitation and the University of North Florida. Currently there are five post-professional education programs, including a multidisciplinary Geriatric Residency (includes residents from OT, Nursing, SLP, and PT), a PT Neurologic Residency, a PT Orthopaedic Residency, a PT Women’s Health Residency, and an Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship. March 31st is the application submission deadline for these programs each year. For more information, please visit BrooksRehab.org/Residency.

As a non-profit organization, Brooks Rehabilitation, based in Jacksonville, FL, operates one of the nation’s largest inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in the US with 157 beds, one of the region’s largest home healthcare agencies, 26 outpatient rehabilitation clinics, a skilled nursing unit dedicated to orthopaedic rehabilitation, a rehabilitation medicine physician practice and an award winning skilled nursing facility. In addition, Brooks Rehabilitation operates the Brooks Rehabilitation Clinical Center which specializes in research for stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury and more to advance the science of rehabilitation.
