© www.spellboundbead.co.uk 2016 Brompton Necklace & Bracelet You will need To make a 7 inch/17cm Bracelet you will need 40 x 4mm faceted beads (A) 74 3mm faceted beads (B) 2g size 15 seed beads (C) To make a 18 inch/ 45 cm necklace you will need 100 4mm faceted beads 220 3mm faceted beads 6ml size 15 seed beads To add more length - per inch/2.5cm you will need (approximately) 5 x 4mm facets; 12 x 3mm facets and a few size 15 seed beads The A beads form the core of the weave - the B and C beads make loops which sit to either side of the core. You will make two loops, one to each side of the core, for every A bead you add. 1 Cut 1.5m thread and tie a keeper bead 15cm from the end. Thread on 2A, 3C, 1B, 3C. Pass the needle through the 2A in the same direction as before (fig 1) - push the loop to the left. Thread on 3C, 1B, 3C. Pass the needle through the 2A beads in the same direction as before (fig 2) - push the loop to the right. 2 Thread on 1A, 3C, 1B, 3C. Pass through the last 2A of the core (1A from previous stitch and new 1A). Push the loop to the left (fig 3). Thread on 3C, 1B, 3C. Pass through the same 2A and push the loop to the right (fig 4). Repeat step 2 (fig 5). Repeat until you have reached the required length. Add a bead tag to one end and a bead loop to the other to complete the design with a simple clasp..
