Maximise your passenger exchange rate by up to 27% !

The rate of exchange on your CITADIS is determined with

you by the specificities of your network, such as traveler

density at peak hours and global ridership rates. Alstom

offers you the choice of double-panel doors at either end

of the tram to give passengers more room to get on and

off, reducing stop times at stations. This fluidity continues

onboard: CITADIS has the largest central aisle on the

tram market 900 mm allowing passengers to move

around freely.

EASY INTERFACE WITH EXISTING NETWORKS

The CITADIS family can interface with existing networks, making

trams easy to insert into any urban environment, thanks to two

technical features:

a reduced dynamic gauge

the option of an axle load below 10 tons per axle.

SPEED UP TO 100 KM PER HOUR

The maximum speed of your CITADIS is up to you. Bogies can be

motorized 50-100% to fit your network speed requirements, which

may include speeds of up to 100 km/h for periurban service.

THREE PROVEN SOLUTIONS FOR CATENARY-FREE

TRAMS

ALSTOM is the worlds only manufacturer capable of offering

service-proven solutions for tram autonomy. Designed to meet

customers specific needs, three are in commercial service:

APS ground level power supply: A system eliminating the

need for an overhead wire over an unlimited distance. Already

proven highly reliable in service in Bordeaux and Orleans, it will

soon be in Reims, Angers, Dubai, Brasilia, Tours.

Batteries : Onboard batteries for autonomy over short

distances, service proven in Nice.

Supercaps: An exclusive solution to maximise the energy

efficiency of a tramway system, allowing the vehicle

to run without an overhead contact wire. Alstom's

supercapacitors solution is service proven on the Paris

T3 tram line.

CITADIS tramways continuously attract more users. To

satisfy increased demand on CITADIS routes, cities such

as Montpellier, Dublin and Nice have extended their trams.

To reduce downtime, extension installations are carried
