About MVSREC

MVSR Engineering College, sponsored by Matrusri Education Society was founded in 1981 with three disciplines. Over the years it has grown in stature and is presently acknowledged as premier technical institute in Andhra Pradesh. The total student strength at present is over 3200. There are 200 well qualified faculty and 230 skilled supporting staff. The college celebrated its silver jubilee in 2007. The college offers B.E. 4-year Degree courses in Automobile, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. The courses are affiliated to Osmania University and are approved by AICTE. Undergraduate programs are accredited twice by NBA. The Post Graduate Courses offered are M.E. About The Department

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was started at the inception of the college, is now offering 4-year B.E Programme in Automobile and Mechanical Engineering disciplines with an intake of 60 & 120 students respectively. The Department has well equipped laboratories and Computational facilities. The department also runs PG programme with specialization M.E(CAD/CAM). Consultancy services are provided by the department to various industries.

Objectives of the Course

The main objective of this seminar is to provide an exposure and update on computational

approaches adopted in manufacturing processes, through series of talks by prominent speakers from Academics and R&D Labs (DRDL, DMRL). The focus of the seminar is to bring various ideas on a common platform. The proposed seminar is beneficial to the academicians, and young researchers.

Eligibility

Faculty members from Mechanical, Production and Automobile Engineering of AICTE approved technical institutions, persons from Industry related to mechanical and production engineering, practicing engineers from R&D organizations, research scholars and post graduate students. The number of participants is limited to 50.
