Wide, Convenient Cargo Space

With the rear seats folded down, Lancer Sportback gives you an incredibly large carrying space. With a length of 1,570mm and a maximum width of 1,395mm, you have room for suitcases, golf bags, groceries, or

almost anything else you want to take with you.

Nearly Flat Floor Space

The rear seats fold down to

approximately 10 degrees from

completely flat, making it easy to slide

cargo in and out of the rear space. This

also gives you up to 415mm of height in

the cargo area, allowing you to carry

even large loads. When the trunk floor is

lowered to the second level, the height

becomes 505mm.

Lancer Sportback provides a large, roomy interior. Rear passengers especially will appreciate the increased leg- and headroom, as well as the higher

Room to MoveActive Stability Control (ASC)

Active Stability Control allows you to stay in

control even when the road turns slippery.

ASC monitors vehicle attitude to detect

sideslip or traction loss, then applies

braking force and engine output precisely to

the wheels that need it in order to maintain

optimal traction. In addition, wheel spin is

reduced when taking off to provide optimal

braking, acceleration and evasive

maneuvering.

Seatbelts with Pretensioners and Force-limitersThe driver’s and front passenger’s seatbelts are available with

pretensioners that reel in to secure the occupant in the initial

moments of a collision, and force-limiters that gently release the

occupant to reduce the risk of injury.

ABS with EBDWhen a sudden surprise is dropped in your path, Lancer

Sportback’s ABS (Antilock Braking System) gives you the ability to

maneuver safely around obstacles as you slow down. The EBD

(Electronic Brake-force Distribution) assists by applying additional

force to the rear brakes as needed, enabling quicker stops even

when carrying passengers.
