RFS delivers a cost-effective, in-building solution with itsplenum-rated air-dielectric coaxial cable, the backbone of theClearFill® Line of products. CATVP-rated, with low flame-spread and low-smoke characteristics, it is ideal for use withinthe building plenum defined as the "environmental airhandling space." This permits use of the cable as part of anin-building Distributed Antenna System (DAS). Plenum-ratedcables, tested in accordance with the National Fire ProtectionAgency (NFPA) testing method 262, have the most stringentflame-retardant and smoke-suppressant characteristics. Due totheir low attenuation, outstanding heat transfer properties,and temperature-stabilized dielectric materials, RFS plenum-rated cables provide a safe, long-term operating life at high-transmit power levels.
