Clare College Development Office, together with a famous local bakery and Cambridge institution, Fitzbillies, has created a unique service which enables family and friends to send good wishes to students while they are away from home. We’ll email the student to let them know that a ‘gift’ is waiting for them at the Fitzbillies shop (a short walk from Clare). What better way to send a good luck message, a birthday greeting, or simply to show you care!

Please allow a MINIMUM of 5 WORKING DAYS for your order to be processed by the date requested. All products may contain traces of nuts and we regret that Fitzbillies cannot cater for specific requirements.

CAKE AND VOUCHER SELECTION

All of our cakes are baked from scratch in the bakery behind our original shop, to traditional recipes. The cakes are 7 inches in diameter and serve eight people. All cakes are £19.

Lemon Light lemon sponge, filled and iced with lemon cream-cheese frosting, decorated with hand-piped sugar flowers.

Vanilla Victoria sponge filled with raspberry jam and buttercream. Topped with vanilla buttercream and hand-piped sugar flowers.

Carrot Moist carrot cake with sultanas and walnuts, topped with cream-cheese icing.

Coffee Walnut Coffee cake made with a double shot of our own espresso, filled and topped with coffee buttercream and decorated with walnut halves.

Chocolate Three layers of chocolate sponge, filled with chocolate buttercream, topped with smooth chocolate icing.

Sachertorte Chocolate cake laced with rum, filled with chocolate ganache and topped with smooth chocolate icing – a richer, more grown-up chocolate cake.

Any cake can be customised with a short, piped message for an additional £5.

Chelsea Buns (Box of 4) £9A Fitzbillies classic, they need no introduction!

Vouchers can be used in Fitzbillies cake shop or café/restaurant and are available in £10, £20 and £50.

The Love from Home service, run by the Clare Development Office, is an important part of the Family &

Friends Programme. The programme provides a link between parents and families of Clare students and the College, and gives

parents the opportunity to become more involved in their children’s university experience and in the life of the

College in general.
