Since the introduction of the LV Classifier in 1998, LV Technology has continued to develop state-of-the art soluctions to the cement industry. These innovative designs have enabled the company to progress, with much success, from performing a wide range of cement plant modifications to also installing new parts.

LV Classifiers are applied to vertical mills and ball mills. References exhibit more than 500 sets supplied to all over the world. LV Classifier produces higher production rate about 10-20% and less specific power consumption about 1.5-5kWh/t, compared with other Separators.

LV Cyclones reduce the pressure drop across the preheater and increase the dust collection efficiency. Based on LVT’s unique cyclone, a high efficient preheater tower has now been designed. A cyclone tower can be constructed with twin LV Cyclones on each deck without losing the advan-tages of low pressure drop. Having two LV Cyclones on each level reduces the height of the preheater tower considerably, thereby lowering the cost of civil engineering and materials as well as decreas-ing costly erection time.

The complete line of Universal Roll Crushers for coal

includes sizes and types for many coal crushing

applications. Both single stage and two stage

models are available for primary, secondary or

combined crushing. Run of the mine coal can be

quickly and efficiently reduced to the desired size

without excessive fines. Universal Roll Crushers offer

Reduction byshear and attrition in the single roll

model and reduction by impact and compression

between the rolls of the multiroll models.

The Universal Triple Roll Crusher combines primary

and secondary reduction in a single, compact unit.

As the diagram illustrates, the primary roll is

mounted above the two secondary rolls. Capacity of

this versatile unit ranges from 100 to 300 STPH

depending on the type of coal being crushed and

desired product size.

With two sets of rolls, the Universal Four Rollcrusher

can reduce 10” R.O.M. coal to a 1/2”cubical product

quickly and efficiently. As theabove diagram

illustrates, the roughing rollshave long teeth to catch

material and pull itdown. The crushed coal from the

roughingrolls falls directly onto the finishing rolls.

Eachset of rolls is independently adjustable to

controlproduct size and flow. Capacity rangesto 500

STPH.

Every Universal Roll Crusher is built to provide years

of dependable service. Anti-friction bearings carry

the large roll shafts and assemblies smoothly . The

bearings are close to the rolls so they carry the load

efficiently and eliminate the danger of shaft flexing.

The heavy duty drive gear and pinion used in

Universal Roll Crushers are heat treated. They

provide positive, efficient power while withstanding

heavy shock loads. Machine cut teeth assure smooth

operation and longer life.

WEIGHBELT FEEDERSOver 50 years ago WOHWA developed the first weigh belt feeders. Since that time WOHWA produces all the components for all WOHWA weigh belt feeders in house at its factory in Germany.

The robust WOHWA weigh belt feeders are available in belt widths from 16” (400mm) to 56” (1400mm) to satisfy all customer requirements of capacity and can handle all varia-tions in material characteristics, flow characteristics and applications.

All weigh belt feeders are furnished with troughed belts or Flexo Well belts. Precise design eliminates forces that can have an influence on the accuracy of the belt scale.

Depending on the application and the material characteristics each feeder can be furnished with different WOHWA shut off sliding gates. Type 02, 03, 08 or 01.1 can be utilised to cover a wide range of variants.


CONTINUOUS FLOW MIXER• Continuous flow mixers for loadout capacities ranging from 300 to 1200 t/h• For continuous homogenization of bulk materials• With wear-resisting and exchangeable Hardox or cast iron lining• Single-product chute on shuttle drive• Can be easily combined with a telescopic loading chute for dust-free loadout of bulk materials

WÖHWA Continuous Flow Mixers are used for mixing bulk materials (0 - 60 mm) mainly at discharge or loadout points. Eight offset agitating arms guarantee outstanding mix qualities. It is available in 3 sizes covering loadout capacities between 200 t/h and 1200 t/h.

The spring-mounted motor of the WÖHWA Continuous Flow Mixer guarantees reduced power consumption, less material wear and a long service life. To prolong the service life even more, cast tiles of X350CrMoNi-2021 can be mounted.

The mixer blades are easily exchangeable and can be supplied in different sizes designed to minimize the segregation of the mixed materials The centering device brakes the rotation of the material flow and reduces scattering and segregation during loadout. In combination with a WÖHWA telescopic loading tube you can purchase a complete loadout set from one supplier.


TELESCOPIC LOADING CHUTES

The WÖHWA Telescopic Loading Tube is an extremely robust product for the loadout of sands or coarse grained materials. The wear resistant steel lining has a long working life and can be exchanged with very little effort. Prox-imity sensors keep the discharge nozzle always at the right distance to the material pile (optional).

In combination with a WÖHWA Continuous Flow Mixer it is the optimum basis for environment-friendly loadout of high-quality blends. When used with a WÖHWA Blending and Loadout System, automatic use of the Telescopic Loading Tube can be programmed by marking the relevant blend recipes.

MATERIALS HANDLING - FLUIDS

THE MOST ROBUST CHEMICAL SLURRY PUMPS IN THE MARKET

THE ONLY PUMP MANUFACTURER ABLE TO PROVIDE A TRUE HYDRO-DYNAMIC SEAL -

The dynamic seal provides for zero leakage of the pumped product without the need for costly mechanical seals, packing, and lip seals or in most cases seal water and the associated supporting seal water systems. Product dilution due to seal water is further eliminated.

With no rubbing seal components to fail over time, the dynamic seal can operate reliably over the life of the hydraulic wet end of the pump.

Dynamic seals can offer reliable service in difficult applica-tions that may include; varying amounts of solids, liquids that are close to saturation prone to crystallizing, scaling liquids and where operational upsets such as cavitation, dead head-ing of the pump and even dry running can occur.

ELIMINATE PUMP OUTAGES FOREVER- Most pump forced outages are related to failure of their seals be that mechanical or rope seals.

- Our pumps do not have any seals - they have a special impeller that creates an air bubble that acts as a seal - this type of seal is called a hydro-dynamic seal. Our hydro-dynamic seal is backed up by another seal that only operates when the pump is not in operation - this seal opens up by centrifugal force and therefore it will last the life the pump. Please note that we are the only pump manufacturer that operates a hydro-dynamic seal with a centrifugal type of secondary seal - this double sealing technique guarantees the elimination of outages due to sealing failures.

- Our pumps are also 50% to 200% sturdier than other pumps in the market - this gives it an extra protection

- Our pumps are able to handle solids up to 65% by volume.

- Our impellers are retracted which creates impulse due to a vortex, in effect our impellers are not in contact with the flow of the material - this eliminates the wear of our impellers therefore it dramatically reduces the chances of an outage due to impeller failure.

- Our pumps can handle harsh chemicals as well as water. - Conventional pump seals need to be cooled, the simplest method of cooling a seal is by either injecting water into the system or by letting the product leak out. Since our technology does not use any seals we eliminate the injection of liquids into the system or the leaking out of valuable product. Please note that in certain processes any water that is injected into the system has to be subsequently evaporated - this is the single most expensive expense of running a pump with conventional seals.

TRUCK SCALESWÖHWA Truck Scales are supplied ready-to-use with pitless or pit type concrete foundations. There is also the possibility of installing the scale in a pour-in-place concrete foundation for which WÖHWA provides the plan for concrete formwork and reinforcement.

All you have to provide locally is an aggregate base on which the pitless truck scale is installed. WÖHWA truck scales are available in lengths of 8 to 20 m. Extra sizes are available upon request.

The scales are designed as per DIN standard 8119 with a maximum load of 60 t. The drive-on platforms have a very high degree of wear resistance and the high-quality concrete guarantees best resistance against frost and de-icing salt. All truck scales are equipped with stainless steel load cells (IP 68), WÖHWA weighing terminal GCU and ticket printer.

Concrete guide walls on the platforms help to avoid weighing errors due to false vehicle positioning. There are many possibilities for optimizing weighing processes. WÖHWA meets your demands from simple camera surveil-lance to completely unattended loadout and weighing.

Thanks to decades of experience, WÖHWA guarantees highest reliability for cost-effective production and a high weighing accuracy for its hopper scales used in handling bulk materials.

Since our scales are used predominantly for legal-for-trade purposes, highest precision during the manufacturing process is a matter of course.

"Loss-In-Weight" measurement is used to reclaim bulk materials with varying density from hoppers. This high-accuracy, continuous and gravimetric measurement is used to continu-ously adjust the speed of the feeder during discharging to keep the material flow constant.A precondition for this measurement method is the use of adjustable feeders like rotary valves or screws to control discharge rates.

Hybrid hopper scales have the additional advantage of adjusting the feeding rate during filling of the hoppers by using the weight values measured most recently.

WÖHWA Hopper Scales can be supplied for all hopper sizes with the customer-requested accu-racy. We can supply cost-efficient weighing systems from simple production control scales to high-accuracy hopper scales for the uranium or gold industry.
