INPUTOPERATOR PROCESSES
AirPl@nFlying an aircraft implies having a maintenance programme duly approved
by the regulatory authority. It is one of the mandatory documents needed for initial and renewal
of the aircraft Certificate of Airworthiness. Therefore, it needs to be kept updated
to reflect the aircraft configuration and manufacturer’s documents (aircraft, engine, others).
The maintenance programme contains the scheduled tasks that need to be performed.
It is the starting point for developing the maintenance task operating plan that will identify
the most appropriate schedule according to aircraft operation.
As an added value for your engineering team, Airbus propose you to bring its large expertize
through the AirPl@n suite of services. It is designed to offer you the best in class practices
for your maintenance programme and planning activities.

The Line Check List (LCL) containsall the scheduled maintenance tasksapplicable to an Airbus fleet that areconsidered as part of the line maintenance(preflight, transit, daily, weekly).
The Maintenance Task Operating Plan (MTOP)defines the most appropriate schedule of OMP tasks according to each operator’smaintenance concept: operator’s strategy, aircraft’s utilizationand availability, manpower/material resources, aircraft age. It shows the distribution ofOMP tasks into maintenance check events over a defined period of time. Each eventhighlights the total number of tasks and the associated workload.
The Line Check List (LCL)
The Maintenance Task Operating Plan (MTOP)
The Task Card (TC) summarizesto the mechanics what maintenanceoperations have to be donefor a given maintenance check. The data is retrieved fromOMP and RPD.
The Resource Provision Data (RPD) provides material resource data such asexpendables, consumables, tools/ground support equipment for each taskidentified in an OMP. This information is directly extracted from operator’s AMMand IPC.
