stabilized? Senator Swati concludes on the note that Pakistan must listen to the US. He focuses on

HASB-E-HAAL SHOW: COMEDY

Comedy & News: This show is a well-known show in Pakistan. It is similar

to the Jon Stewart Show, but much different. It provides a comedian approach to the serious news of the region. I wanted to point it out because they always discuss current events and make fun of the situation.

This particular segment talks about Pakistani military and wikileaks, a topic that is still discussed a lot in Pakistan.

SUMMARY

These videos are very interesting to watch if you are familiar with Urdu. They really show how important these dialogues between the US and Pakistan are integral to the way Pakistanis think and view the US. Many tough questions are posed by the TV hosts and heavy debate exists among most of the guests on the show.

It is interesting to see the graphics/music which is played. Most of the

photos of Sec. Clinton and Admiral Mullen are very serious to add to the dramatic effect of the show. There is a sense of exaggeration and emphasis paid on how to make the viewer watch the show and get them to think on these topics.

A downfall of the heated debate and conversations is the rise in conspiracy theories. A lot of the questions and answers lead the viewer to believe, maybe there is more out there? Maybe what they are saying really means something else?
