A Step By Step Guide to accomplishing her haircolor.

What We Used

• For the dark color: 6AA WELLA COLOR CHARM mixed with 20 volume peroxide.

Available for purchase at Sally Beauty Supply.

• For the light color : VERY LIGHT BEIGE BLONDE FERIA mixed with developer from kit. Available for purchase at

Walmart.

Step 1

• Locate your part.• When sectioning your hair, you always want to work off the part

you will be wearing.

Step 2

• Everyone has 2 spots in their front hairline that they insist are balding, these are known as your

recession spots.• In the recession area you will be making 2 triangles

that point to the back of your head.• There will be one triangle on each side of your part.

If you part your hair in the middle your triangles will be the same size. If you part your hair on the side

your triangles will be different sizes. The larger triangle will be on your heavier side.

This example is showing left side part.

Step 3

• You will now make 8 triangles off your part. 4 on each side of your

part. On each side of your part the triangles will be pointing to

Notice how the triangles stay on the sides of the head.

Step 4

• Remember those 2 triangles you sectioned off in your recession area? Those 2 triangles are

pointing away from your face. • You are now going to section off the whole top of

your head using those points. Start from the point of one of the triangles and make a

horseshoe shape section all the way around the top of your head until you meet up with the

other point.

Notice how the horseshoe in on the top of the head.

Step 5

• You are now going to take your next sections from approximately 1 inch

above your ears.• You will work to the middle of the back of your head making a V SHAPE

in the back of your head.

Notice how the section curves down and ends up making a V SHAPE as you work away from

your face.

•You are all sectioned! Now its time to APPLY

THE DYE!

• When we sectioned the hair, we worked from the top of the head to the bottom. When we APPLY

THE DYE we will be working from the bottom of the head to the

top.

Step 6

• In the bottom section of your hair you will be applying the light

color. This is the section below the V and under the ear.

Step 7

• In the section above the section you just did you will apply the

dark color to your roots and the light color to the ends.

Step 8

• Everything in the horseshoe section is going to be dyed the dark color.

The entire horseshoe section will be dark.

Step 9

• Everything that is a triangle you are going to use the light color.

Step 10

• After 30 minutes wash your hair and fall in love with your new

haircolor.
