Over the last 10 years B.C. agrifoods exports to the E.U. have decreased in value by 40 per cent.

The E.U. had a near three per cent share of B.C.’s agrifoods export market in 2013.

The total value of B.C. exports to the E.U. decreased by five per cent in 2013.

Of the top exports, mushrooms saw the most growth between 2012 and 2013 with a more than threefold increase in value.

Agrifood made up 52 per cent of the export value with seafood making up 48 per cent.
