Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning (Brooks IHL) serves as the academic division of Brooks Rehabilitation, providing world-class educational opportunities for rehabilitation practitioners. Brooks Rehabilitation provides a continuum of care that spans inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient services, home care, adaptive recreation, and multiple facilities that provide care for older adults. The Brooks inpatient hospital is one of the busiest free-standing rehabilitation hospitals in the country, discharging approximately 3,000 patients per year. In addition to the expansive clinical network, Brooks also has a clinical research department to bring cutting-edge rehabilitation directly to our patients.

• Due to Brooks Rehabilitation’s expansive clinical network, the Brooks IHL is able to offer a diverse portfolio of course offerings taught by industry experts in a variety of specialty areas, including Orthopaedics, Neurology, Women’s Health, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, and Speech-Language Pathology.
• Our faculty members participate in conferences around the world, conduct groundbreaking research, and submit peer-reviewed journal publications that contribute to their field and highlight their expertise.
• The Brooks IHL accommodates multiple learning styles with opportunities for clinicians who prefer live, online, and/or blended learning methods.
• Brooks IHL courses are far from the run-of-the-mill continuing education of other providers. Our course offerings focus on evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning algorithms, new techniques, cutting-edge research, and professional growth with information immediately applicable when you return to your practice setting!
• Educate your staff with CEUs at a minimal cost to your facility. • Offer a high quality course your staff will enjoy. • Cultivate an environment of clinical excellence.
• Two complimentary registrations for your staff just for hosting! One additional complimentary registration for every 5 clinicians enrolled in the course.
• Promotion of your organization on all advertising material. • Increase your presence within your healthcare community.
• Provide meeting and/or lab space (Capacity of at least 50 people). • Provide audiovisual equipment, and furnish classroom setup (e.g. chairs, tables, etc.) • Provide continental breakfast, snacks, and refreshments as needed. • Provide at least 1 on-site coordinator to assist the instructor with course setup, registration, and any other
logistical items during the course hours. • Assist with community awareness of the course offering. Minimum registration of 10 people.

Customize a course to meet your facility’s needs! Let us plan and arrange a workshop for your staff! This option allows you to work with us to select a course topic of interest, and to customize the presentation to your facility’s specific needs and goals. This offers the greatest benefit to your facility while helping your clinical staff to develop specific skills and competencies.
• A customized presentation geared toward your initiatives and goals. • Flat rate expense allowing enrollment for up to 15 clinicians. Option to purchase more if needed. • Promote clinical excellence. • Provide instruction on the most effective clinical strategies. • Reduce practice variance amongst your clinical staff.
• Assistance and support with selection and customization of the course. • CEU approval when applicable. • Course manuals and other handouts as needed for each participant. • Course certificates, instructor evaluations, and permanent CEU record.
• Provide meeting and/or lab space. • Provide audio-visual equipment, and classroom setup. • Provide simulated patients (if applicable). • 1 on-site course coordinator. • Provide refreshments and snacks as needed. • Send the finalized list of course participants, including name, license number and email address.
