Brindavan Group of Institutions is the brainchild of
Dr. Majed A A Sabha, who is an educationist and
entrepreneur. Brindavan Group of Institutions was
established in the year 1993 and managed by N M
Academy Trust. Brindavan College of Engineering
was established in the year 2008. The campus
accommodates well ventilated Classrooms,
Departmental Laboratories, Workshop, Library,
Placement & Training Cell, Auditorium and much
more. Brindavan College has been assessed and
accredited at the ‘A’ level by the NAAC. The
current intake of all branches is 600 and students
from nearly 52 countries are studying in this
organisation. The organisation has about 200
qualified faculty members and 150 supporting
technical and non-technical staff members in
various departments. The institute offers 5 UG
Programs, 2 M.Tech Programs, MBA, MCA and
Ph.D. Programs in Civil & Mechanical, all affiliadte
to VTU, Belagavi. The institute also offers 4
Diploma Programs affiliated to Technical Board,
Karnataka.
Department of Civil Engineering was established in
the year 2008 and has an intake of 120 in B.E and
30 in M.Tech-Structural Engineering programs. The
department has recognised R&D Centre affiliated
to VTU. The department has professional and
enthusiastic group of academicians whose
objective is to impart quality technical education to
students to take up civil engineering profession a s
their career. The Civil Engineering Association,
named ‘Avishkar’ was formed in 2010 to encourage
faculty and students to conduct Technical
Seminars, Paper Presentation, Technical Quiz and
more. The department is actively involved in the
testing and consultancy of construction materials.
