A new bright bronze process, the CuMac Lumina Process, is used to produce a bright white or yellow bronze coating that can be used as an undercoat or as a final plate. Deposits are hard but ductile with good covering power. The alloy varies slightly with

current density, and the process is suitable for barrel and rack plating. The CuMac Lumina Process is said to be an excellent replacement for the nickel undercoat prior to palladium, rhodium, or gold plating for jewelry.
