How do we go there?

•By school bus (45 mins to 1 hr)

•In 3 waves– Wave 1: 0800 – 1045 (Class 4/4 & 4/7)– Wave 2: 0845 – 1145 (Class 4/2, 4/3 & ½ of 4/5)– Wave 3: 0945 – 1245 (Class 4/1, 4/6 & ½ of 4/5)

What do we do there?

•3 routes to explore.

•selected pupils will get to interview the landlord and a Malay auntie

•“toilet breaks” at a house (used for filming)

•Complete Learning Journey booklet

•Should last about 1hr

What to bring?

•Normal school bag for EL, Maths & Sc lessons

•No need to bring learning devices (laptops)

•Small bag for keeping:– Water bottle - Beacon cap– Handkerchief - Insect repellent– Stationeries - Raincoat/ poncho– Camera (optional) - Food(during break time)

What do we do after that?

•To discuss what you see and how you feel over there

•Forms part of your Project work in term 3

When do we assemble?

•For Wave 1 (Class 4/4 and 4/7)– Assemble in the foyer earlier in the morning– Board the school bus at 0850hr in 2 buses– Reach there at 0845hr and split the 2 classes into 3

groups– Tour ends at 0945hr– Board school bus at 1000hr in 2 buses– Reach school 1045hr and have 15 mins break before

going to classes

•For Wave 2 (Class 4/2, 4/3 & ½ of 4/5)– Lesson in class till 0845hr and assemble in Foyer– Board the school bus at 0900hr in 2 buses– Reach there at 0945hr and split the 2 classes into 3

groups– Tour ends at 1045hr– Board school bus at 1100hr in 2 buses– Reach school 1145hr and have 15 mins break before

going to classes

0930hr– Board the school bus at 0945hr in 2 buses– Reach there at 1030hr and split the 2 classes into 3

groups– Tour ends at 1130hr– Board school bus at 1145hr in 2 buses– Reach school 1230hr and have 15 mins break before

going to classes
