SALIENT FEATURES/ PARAMETERS

for individual dwelling units 5 Marla in urban areasand 01Kanal (20 Marla) in rural areas.
3. Excess area
payment @ different values of current Valuation TableRate.

Husband and wife.
For proprietors already owning agricultural land more than4 ½ acres (36-kanals) :-
• Upto 10-marla at the rate of Valuation Table.
• Above 10-marla and upto 1 kanal with 10% surchargeon the valuation Table rate.
• Above 1 kanal and upto 30 marlas with 50% surchargeon the Valuation Table rate.
• Above 30 marlas and upto 2 kanals with 100%surcharge on the Valuation Table rate.

For non-proprietors and proprietors owning less than 4 ½Acres(36-kanals):
• Cost of land for occupation upto 10-Marla will be @Rs.172/- per Marla.
• Cost of land for occupation above 10-Marla and upto 1-Kanal will be @ Rs.750/- per Marla
• Cost of land for occupation from 1-Kanal and upto 2-Kanalwill be the current valuation table rate at the time of grantof Proprietary Rights.
• Cost of land for occupation above 2-Kanal will be thecurrent valuation table rate with additional surcharge @50%thereof at the time of grant of the Proprietary Rights.
COST OF LAND (URBAN AREAS)
• The price of land will be @ 2% of the current valuationtable in and around abadi in vogue at the time of grant ofProprietary Rights for area under occupation upto 5-Marla.
• Cost of land for occupation above 5-Marla and upto 10-Marla will be current valuation table rate at the time of grantof Proprietary Rights.
• Cost of land for occupation above 10-Marla will be thecurrent valuation table rate with additional surcharge @50% thereof at the time of grant of Proprietary Rights.
• 3,438 Katchi Abadies having 254,235dwelling units with 1,779,645beneficiaries all over the Punjabhave been notified
