Bridging from TOGAF® 8 Certified to TOGAF® 9 Certified
The purpose of the bridging option is to enable individuals who are TOGAF 8 Certified to obtain TOGAF 9 certification.
The bridging option exists to recognize the existing investment in TOGAF certification for individuals who have achieved the TOGAF 8 Certified qualification.
Individuals who have qualified as TOGAF 8 Certified can bridge directly to the TOGAF 9 Certified qualification.
NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL: The Open Group will withdraw the TOGAF 8 – 9 Advanced Bridge Examination (Exam Reference OG0-9AB) on November 1, 2013. The date for last examinations at test centers is October 31, 2013.

• Individuals who have achieved the TOGAF 8 Certified qualification
• Individuals who require a deeper understanding of the TOGAF 9 standard
• Professionals who are working in an organization where the TOGAF 9 standard has been adopted and who need to participate in architecture projects and initiatives
• Architects who will be responsible for developing architecture artifacts
• Architects who wish to introduce the TOGAF 9 standard into an architecture practice
• Architects who want to achieve a recognized qualification to demonstrate their detailed knowledge of the TOGAF 9 standard

Study Track
Candidates may choose how they wish to learn about the TOGAF 9 standard. Courses will be available from The Open Group accredited training organizations and other training organizations.
Prerequisites
TOGAF 8 Certified qualification.
1 At Prometric test centers a copy of the TOGAF 9 standard is provided built into the examination and available on the REFERENCE button.
