The Bridge is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that assists more than 2,300 vulnerable New Yorkers each year, including the homeless and people suffering with serious mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The Bridge helps them achieve a betterlife in the community through safe and affordable housing, vocationaltraining and job placement, mental health and substance abuse treat-ment, homeless outreach, art and poetry therapy programs andhealth care. The Bridge is unique in offering all of these services underone umbrella organization.
