O ur view is that some training companies think they are more important than the

people they are teaching. It’s all about their latest complicated model, structure,

method or template. At BTS, we play to your strengths and we do this by starting with

you and not a training manual.

Rather than pluck something off the shelf and hope that it sticks, we provide practical and useful

learning programs built around the core strengths and personality of your top performers, leaders

and ideal customers – and the culture of your business or organisation. Our training is simple

to understand, quick to use, and easy to recall because it is practical with the perfect blend of

theoretical models. Our programs are real-world, immersive and feel natural.

Here’s WHY we do it: We get out of bed in the morning to get real results from our learning programs. It’s easy to provide

‘training’. It’s much harder to change the behaviour of humans. That’s our passion! No training

company will work harder to understand your people. And no training programme will work harder to

improve their performance.

Here’s HOW we do it:Unlike traditional training, we don’t lock you into our system, or bend you to our rules. We are unique

in that we start with you. This makes your learning development much more bespoke – it looks and

feels culturally aligned. A rigid methodology can be a straight-jacket when solving specific problems,

so we prefer a flexible, ideas-led approach. With years of senior-level experience, our trainers can

focus a team’s natural strengths, fire their imaginations and ultimately change their behaviour.

Traditional training doesn’t encourage adults to naturally change, because it is a day or two of rather

boring training and not much else. Traditional training is more likely to be ‘off the shelf’ – featuring

a trainer who lacks real world experience. There will be 1-2 days of some rather dated slides, a lot

of ‘chalk and talk’, a future-dust-gatherer called a workbook, and not much learning going on at all.

Traditional training might get a temporary spike in performance, but it is quickly forgotten because

it hasn’t gone beyond skin-deep.

With BTS, real change takes place rather than simply ‘getting trained’.

Thanks for taking the time to read about us. We look forward to getting to know you

Allow me to say something controversial... Training has lost its way!

Breckland Training Services (BTS) was launched in 2013 to deliver primarily an external training and development service to the public sector.

Due to its continued success BTS is being developed into a local authority

trading company allowing it to trade with both the public and private sectors

across the country as well as in subject areas outside the normal scope of a

standard local authority training organisation.

The training on offer ranges from 1-2-1 coaching sessions to large team building

and/or management exercises. The training is aimed not just at the public sector

- it is wholly relevant to the private sector, however large or small (we currently

deliver 5 local authority management challenges per year across the country and

have recently developed them further to make them relevant across all sectors).

Whilst a regular schedule covers the more routine training courses we also

design, develop and deliver bespoke courses at either our facilities or, if that

is inconvenient, at yours!

Our fees are more than competitive. For example, our fees to deliver a bespoke

half-day workshop on your premises would start from as low as £795* (and that

would be for up to 12 delegates [depending on the training topic]). To attend

one of our half-day in-house sessions can be as low as £125 per person.

Get in touch with us today in person, by phone or by e-mail (or, if at an event,

fill in the enclosed information request form), and let us meet your future

training needs.

Introduction to Neuro-Linguistic Programming• ‘Neuro’ – refers to the mind, through

which our experiences are processed

means language through which our

most effective manner.

stores, retrieves, manages and

communicates information.
