2 hours One of the most important aspects of workforce management is capturing when and where employees work. Dayforce tracks this information using timesheets. In this course, we will set default parameters for the Timesheets feature and define time tracking requirements by creating pay codes. Pay codes represent what employees are doing during their shifts and pay categories that indicate how that time is paid. In addition, we will create pay categories groups that can be used for reporting purposes and pay code groups that can be used to restrict pay codes to certain users.

DF115: Processing a simple pay run - Part 1

2 hours As a payroll administrator using Dayforce, learn about the introductory steps to process a simple pay run without any additional payments or corrections. You will also gain an understanding of how to validate your payroll data throughout the payroll process.

DF116: Processing a simple pay run - Part 2

2 hours Must be taken with DF115: Processing a Simple Pay Run - Part 1 Building on your knowledge from Processing a Simple Pay Run - Part 1, you will learn about the remaining steps for processing a pay run with no additional payments or corrections. You will also conduct pre- and post-commit audits, in order to validate the payroll data using tools and reports in Dayforce.

DF117: Setting up Recruiting - Part 1

2 hours Learn the configuration steps that must be completed prior to setting up your Recruiting functionality. Topics in the course will include setting up security, organization setup, jobs and positions, client properties, company logos and documents.

DF118: Setting up Recruiting - Part 2

2 hours Must complete DF117: Setting Up Recruiting - Part 1 to enroll in this lab. Expand on your knowledge from the Setting Up Recruiting Part 1 course and set up job requisition justifications, recruiters, job application customizations, candidate sources and statuses, third-party services and offer letter configuration.

All of these parameters are important in determining how employees’ access Dayforce, what they can see and do once logged in and their user experience within Dayforce.

2 hours Must complete DF119: Defining Security and Global Settings - Part 1 to enroll in this lab. What do your employees see when they log into Dayforce depends on their responsibilities and position? Each person needs to be able to access the features and information related to their duties but should not be able to view or modify information beyond the scope of their role. As a system administrator or power user, an understanding of how security and global settings works is essential when making decisions during implementation and maintaining access parameters once your product is live.

DF121: Setting up Compensation

2 hours This course is intended for HR administrators who are responsible for creating and maintaining their organization’s compensation cycles. Setting up Compensation walks you through the Dayforce features that are part of the compensation process. You will learn how to create compensation cycles that align with your company’s compensation budget, pay guidelines, and approval process.

1 hour The cybersecurity landscape is always changing.
