I have the coolest job on the planet. I get to express my creativity while rubbing elbows with some of the most awesome people I’ve ever met.

My shooting style is fun and natural, and never forced. I won’t ever stop you in the middle of your first dance to look at the camera and smile. When it comes to those traditionally boring wedding day portraits, I like to mix it up with something fun and fresh, or something fashionable and sexy. Outside of photography, I love cats, shoes, karaoke, the Food Network and, most of all, spending time with my awesome husband Brian, who is also my #1 second shooter!

My clients are members of the new wedding revolution. It’s a revolution that reminds us that weddings are personal and that not everybody wants to dress the same, say the same things and dance to the same songs.

yay, you’re engaged!

I love engagement sessions! An engagement session is included for every couple who book me for their wedding. Your engagement session is the perfect time for me to really get to know you, your personality, and your style. Not to mention, we’ll definitely have a lot of fun.

My engagement sessions normally last around two hours and can include up to three locations. I encourage couples to bring at least one change of clothing as well as any props that represent what they love to do! You’re welcome to suggest locations, or I can help you choose one from my lengthy list of cool places. Feel free to bring your guitar, favorite books, records, funky hats or even your dog. I strive to make each session a unique experience that truly shows off your personality and love for one another.

The complimentary engagement session includes a good time and my editing talents. After everything is edited, you will get a private viewing gallery to pick out your favorite images. In addition to the chance to purchase the snazzy regular prints, I’ve got some special deals available.

these aren’t your mother’s bridals

These fun, modern bridal sessions can take place just about anywhere you want. Flowery gardens are definitely NOT required. My bridal sessions average around an hour and a half and can include up to two locations. Bringing a friend or family member is highly encouraged!

If you want to go for something a little more extreme, but are worried about getting your dress dirty, consider rocking your dress AFTER you get married. These sessions are no holds barred. You are free to get as dirty (or stay as clean) as you want.

While I think virtual media is awesome, I also believe it is important to have high quality items to hold in your hands and display in your home. All of my prints are printed through a professional lab on Kodak Endura professional paper. My album company offers a large selection of cover materials, including a variety of vegan options. I believe that our suppliers are some of the best available, and I’m proud to offer some of the highest quality products on the market.

All prints 11x14 and larger are mounted for durability.

Beautiful albums with professional quality Kodak prints mounted inside, are available for a lower price than our flush mount albums. They allow for one print per side, and also come in a variety of cover materials and sizes. If you are interested in knowing more, just ask!

Flush mount albums contain seamless spreads that allow images to spread across two pages without interruption. They have real photographic prints mounted on sturdy pages. The cover combinations are nearly endless! Because albums are so customizable, every album’s cost will be a little bit different.

What kind of payment options do you offer?Most commonly, people pay with checks. If you need to pay via credit card, I can do that too. If you would like to discuss setting up a payment plan, just give me a call.

Do we own the copyright to our images?I provide a personal release for your images, which means you can have them printed a hundred times over or post them to your facebook and myspace pages. However, I will retain the original copyright to the images. Images may not be sold, altered or entered into competitions, and DVDs may not be duplicated for distribution. If you would like more than one copy of your wedding day DVD, you can purchase more.

Can we remove or exchange the engagement session to save some money?The engagement sessions included are completely complimentary, and don’t have any monetary value. I believe they are important in building my relationship with you, plus, they’re just lots of fun! If you really don’t want one, I respect that, but it will not reduce the cost of the package.

How long will it take us to get our images back?Typical portrait sessions can be expected back within two weeks. Weddings take a little bit longer, but generally no more than four weeks. I take my time selecting the best images of the bunch and editing them to specific standards. After your proofing gallery is released, I generally try and meet with you within two weeks to hand over your disc of digital negatives. In instances that I am exceptionally busy to meet my expected turn around time, I will always keep you in the loop on when you can expect your images.
