Bogdan Molea is originaily from the
Ukraine and now calls Canada home.
Molea, a still life artist, says that rvhile he
applies the common technical approach ofphotorea/ism, his goal is "to recreate a visual
realm, a uniry of intense suggestions capable
of delivering the intended emotional,cultural and symbolical messages."
"The final images can then transcend
from a simple representation to a kind ofmetaphysical presence," says Molea. 'As
I manipulate the real life objects, in this
case the gourds or fruits, I am followingthe interrelation of the volumes seen as
characters in a set design. The use of the
light as well helps to create the drama ofthe play." o
