THE PROPERTY It is thought that the bulk of this property may have been built in the 1930’s, quite possible around an older original building. There is a playschool and primary school in Hartfield, a primary school in Forest Row and secondary schools in East Grinstead, Uckfield and Crowborough. Stay on that road for about 3.75 miles then turn left onto Kidds Hill, signposted to Colemans Hatch. After about a mile there is a narrow bridge, shortly after which is a poorly marked turning on the right, which is Chuck Hatch Lane. Turn here, cross the ford, and Bracken Cottage will be found on the left hand side after just over 0.75 miles, identified by our For Sale board.
