It’s that time of year again! Back to school, back to football and our favorite Boatober Fest is back. The 4th Annual Boatober Fest, Friday October 18 through Sunday, October 20, is Jacksonville’s best boating event of the fall.
Bowriders, Bay boats, Center Consoles, Sport Cruisers, Dual Consoles, Walk-Arounds, and Sport Yachts.

**In water customers: Please remember that you cannot continuously run water from the hose to your vessel. This is a major sinking risk!!!**
In an effort to be accommodating, the Dry Stack has become a bit of a JUNK drawer for some customers. We are attempting to empty that junk drawer! I know in the past when our Dry Stack staff has been asked to “hold something” we have ended up “holding” items for years! Unfortunately, the Beach Marine Dry Stack has become a junk drawer for 350 Dry Stack customers. If you have asked us to store any items, now is the time to pick them up. For the next couple of weeks we will be doing some fall cleaning. Just to be clear- this means, tubing equipment, tool boxes, and boat covers, skis…EVERYTHING must go.

Boating Tip of the Month: SUMMER’S END
Just because summer is almost over, don’t abandon your boat until next
spring. The best thing you can do is use your boat! If you can’t, Beach
Marine Service Department offers numerous services to keep your boat
in running order; we can run your motor through the colder months.
Running fresh fuel through your motor’s fuel system monthly prevents
clogged fuel pumps, injectors and a cleaner fuel system. It also keeps
your motor lubricated. Fuel conditioner is also a great preventive
maintenance item to add to your fuel system to help stabilize your fuel
for the winter. So contact Beach Marine Service @ (904)694-2050
and talk with the expert staff to help you maintain your boat.
Don’t just let your boat sit, or it will cost a lot more at a
later date.

With the boating and fishing season in full swing now, don’t neglect the need to have the safety equipment on your vessel in good working order and approved by the USCG. There are stiff penalties involved if your vessel does not have all of the required items on board and in good working order. Check the date on your flares and smoke devices to make sure they are not expired.
